Episode 20: Monday December 3
Gabriela’s father Tigre asks her for forgiveness, while the man who raped her, Fernando, must now pay. Tigre will not let Fernando get away with this crime.
Episode 21: Tuesday December 31
Gabriela threatens to hurt anyone who causes harm to her son David. Irene spreads rumors that Fernando and Gabriela were lovers. Fernando agrees claiming they were in love, but Gabriela must convince everyone that these are lies and that he forcefully took advantage of her. Fernando is still in love with Gabriela who continues to fight him off.
mun2, the Hispanic entertainment cable network for young Hispanic millennial adults, launched an on-air and off-air brand refresh campaign that features new design elements as well as a humorous awareness campaign that focuses on the duality of life and language of its influential audience. Playing off the blend of Spanish and English language and the culture that mun2’s viewers embody, the consumer awareness campaign takes a clever, educational approach to bridging the pronunciation gap through its ‘Maestro’ spots. The campaign was created by mun2’s award-winning creative and marketing teams: creative assets led by Ricardo De Montreuil, Vice President, Creative Director, with New York-based agency Gretel led by Executive Creative Director Greg Hahn, and research and marketing assets led by mun2’s Alex Alonso, Vice President, Brand Marketing.
NBC's GRIMM will join with Telemundo, mun2 and Universal Studios Hollywood’s “Halloween Horror Nights” in an unprecedented NBCUniversal cross-divisional event when its Halloween episode “La Llorona” is broadcast on October 26/27. The episode, featuring Kate del Castillo (Telemundo’s LA REINA DEL SUR), is inspired by the haunting Latin American legend of the same name and will be broadcast in Spanish on Telemundo from 12-1 a.m. (ET) and English on mun2 at 1-2 a.m. (ET). These airings will follow the episode’s debut on NBC at 9-10 p.m. (ET).
mun2 will present the finale of the electrifying telenovela LA REINA DEL SUR in Spanish with English subtitles on June 14 at 10 p.m. LA REINA DEL SUR (Monday-Thursday, 10 p.m.) is currently the most watched Hispanic cable program at 10 p.m., beating all other Hispanic networks in the same time period. The novela set ratings records during its original airing on Telemundo in the spring of 2011 with an average of 4.2 million total viewers.
