A Snead Reunion on the Season 3 Premiere of 'Thurston'

Indie Series Award-winning Thurston is back! In the third season premiere, Maggie (Catherine Frels) and Inolah (Autumn Morningstar Custalow Alfaro) receive a visit from The Marshal (Garry Westcott), DA Stewart (Todd Messegee) makes Pinkerton Daniels ((John C. Bailey)) a proposition, and Rosie (Susannah Wells) plots an escape. Meanwhile, the Sneads have a tense family reunion. First Round of Presenters for the 5th Annual Indie Series Awards Revealed

We Love Soaps and the Indie Series Network are excited to reveal the first round of presenters for the 5th Annual Indie Series Awards, which celebrate the best in independently produced, scripted entertainment created for the Web. Stars from Television, Film, Broadway and the Internet are coming together to celebrate the very best of the World Wide Web.

The Indie Series Awards, hosted by Carolyn Hennesy, will take place on April 2, 2014 at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.

The first 10 presenters are listed below:

Charlene Tilton

Tilton is nominated for her work in DeVanity. She is best known for playing the role of "Lucy Ewing" on the smash primetime hit Dallas. Her many television appearances include The Love Boat, Eight is Enough, Fantasy Island and Murder, She Wrote. Film credits include Edge of Salvation, Hemingway and Diary of a Teenage Hitchhiker. In 2012, she appeared as a contestant on the British ice-skating show, Dancing on Ice.

Christine Lakin

Lakin made her film debut at age 11 in TNT’s The Rose and The Jackal. She is still remembered fondly for her work as “Al” in the sitcom Step By Step, which ran for a successful 7 seasons. Lakin voices multiple roles on FOX’s Family Guy, most notably as news anchor “Joyce Kinney”. She also stars in a recurring role on ABC Family’s Melissa & Joey. Other TV credits include True Blood, Breaking In, The Hard Times of RJ Berger. Her film credits include New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Reefer Madness, You Again and the feature adaption of Veronica Mars. She will be appearing in the upcoming zombie comedy web series Acting Dead.

Season 2 of Indie Soap Award-winning Western web series THURSTON continues this week with a brand new episode.

In "Light in Darkness," Rosie (Susannah Wells), Jo (Lisa Nanni-Messegee) and Owen (Garrett Brennan) share a moment of peace; help comes for Maggie (Catherine Frels); and Agnes (Colleen Zenk), Harlan (Evan Casey) and Amon (Felipe Cabezas) arrive in Thurston.

THURSTON EXCLUSIVE: Walt Willey Joins The Cast

Stage and screen actor Walt Willey has joined the cast of Indie Soap Award-winning web series THURSTON.

The longtime ALL MY CHILDREN fan favorite will play Edmund Snead, father of the outlaw Snead boys and husband to Colleen Zenk's "madam" character, Agnes. Willey has already shot several scenes as Edmund.

"Walt has been a wonderful addition to the THURSTON family," notes creator and writer Kathryn O'Sullivan.

"Audiences are going to enjoy watching him play a charming rogue and even reveal where some of his sons' personality traits originate."

Recently, Willey has been touring the country in his one man show, "Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok." He's also been shooting the upcoming series TAINTED DREAMS.

Brook Kerr's son files lawsuit against his parents
High School Musical star Chris Warren has now filed a lawsuit against PASSIONS actress Brook Kerr and Christopher Warren Sr., claiming they established a trust for him back in 2001 for all the money he made as a minor -- and have been secretly dipping into the kitty big time.

According to the lawsuit, Chris paid into the account for years, but when he decided to make a withdrawal back in 2011 -- as a 21-year-old -- his parents refused to grant him access.

Ariel Winter’s Mother to Sue Publicist, ONE LIFE TO LIVE photos involved
According to gossip website TMZ.com, Chrisoula "Chrystal" Workman (mother of MODERN FAMILY star Ariel Winter and OLTL alum Shanelle Workman) has sent a cease and desist letter to the publicist despite admitting she sent him scantily clad pictures of Shanelle. The letter reportedly warns Jonathan to stop "making false and defamatory statements" because, "Ms. Workman never represented to Mr. Hay that nude pictures existed of her daughter Shanelle." However, the letter later admits that Chrisoula admits sending him two revealing pictures of Shanelle, but she says she found them on the Internet and they were not private because they were taken at a cast party for ONE LIFE TO LIVE - which Shanelle once appeared in - by a professional photographer.

Grahn will play Samantha Voss, a wealthy, recently divorced woman, caught in a hilariously ill-willed War of the Roses struggle with her ex-husband (played by WEEDS star Brendan Ford.)

In the same January episode in which Grahn appears, titled "Significant Others," the MELROSE PLACE, GENERAL HOSPITAL and BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL alum will play former pro golfer Billy Piper whose career went down in flames amidst a nasty divorce scandal. But unlike the Tiger Woods saga, Piper's ex ended up dead, along with a prominent divorce attorney.

Vincent Irizarry (David, ALL MY CHILDREN) is producing "Fall In Love Again With Your Favorite Soap Stars," a cabaret show featuring a wide variety of songs from different periods and genres with a bit of stand-up comedy thrown in, all celebrating the heart-skipping splendor, yet often times maddening challenges, of romantic love.

Irizarry will join his former ALL MY CHILDREN co-stars Bobbie Eakes (Krystal), Walt Willey (Jack), and Jacob Young (J.R.) for a performance at the B.B. King Blues Club in New York City at 8 p.m. on October 28 . The stars will also participate in a Q&A with the audience, and there will be a Meet & Greet for VIP ticket holders.

ALL MY CHILDREN alum Walt Willey to star in Ottawa commercial
Willey will be featured in a new television commercial to be filmed next week throughout Ottawa. The footage will promote tourism for the city throughout the Chicago area and beyond next year.

Walt Willey: "We just got our proposal two nights ago"

Walt Willey continued his Zanies promotional tour around Chicago with an appearance on WGN today. He offered another tidbit on what's happening with Prospect Park.

"ALL MY CHILDREN goes off the air on September 23rd on broadcast television but moving on with a company called Prospect Park, moving to the internet and then hopefully to a cable channel," Willey said. "The fans are dying to hear about that. We just got our proposal two nights ago so we're all looking at it now, but bunches of stuff for people to be brought up to date on."
