USA Announces Fall Schedule, 'Damnation' to Premiere on November 7

USA Network's fall schedule was announced today, including the premiere date of the new original series Damnation on Tuesday, November 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The co-production from Universal Cable Productions and Netflix follows a bloody battle set in the 1930s as the fight between rich and poor escalates, centering on a preacher and the new strikebreaker in town.

MR. ROBOT - Season 3 Premieres Wednesday, October 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT

The critically acclaimed and Golden Globe-winning MR. ROBOT follows Elliot Alderson (Emmy Award winner Rami Malek), a cyber-security engineer who, along with Mr. Robot (Golden Globe winner Christian Slater) and fsociety, starts a revolution to change the world. Picking up immediately following the Season 2 cliffhanger, Season 3 will explore each character's motivations and the disintegration between Elliot and Mr. Robot. The series also stars Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Stephanie Corneliussen, Martin Wallström, Grace Gummer, Michael Cristofer, Bobby Cannavale and Emmy Award nominee BD Wong.

'Queen of the South' Premieres June 21 on USA Network

USA Network's upcoming original drama series, Queen of the South, starring Alice Braga, will premiere Tuesday, June 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

A co-production from Fox 21 Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions (UCP), the series is based on the global best-selling novel La Reina Del Sur, by internationally-acclaimed author Arturo Pérez-Reverte. The literary page-turner also yielded a popular super series for USA's sister network, Telemundo.

Queen of the South tells the powerful story of Teresa Mendoza, a woman who is forced to run and seek refuge in America after her drug-dealing boyfriend is unexpectedly murdered in Mexico. In the process, she teams with an unlikely figure from her past to bring down the leader of the very drug trafficking ring that has her on the run.

The series also stars Verónica Falcón as Camila Vargas, Justina Machado as Brenda Parra, Peter Gadiot as James Valdez, Hemky Madera as Pote Galvez and Gerardo Taracena as Cesar "Batman" Guemes. Guest stars include Joaquim de Almeida, Jon Ecker and James Martinez.

Ryan Phillippe's 'Shooter' Receives Series Pickup from USA Network

USA Network has announced a series pick-up for Shooter, a drama based on the best-selling Bob Lee Swagger novel by Stephen Hunter, "Point of Impact," and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg. The co-production with Paramount Television and Universal Cable Productions comes from executive producers Wahlberg of Closest to the Hole Productions; Stephen Levinson of Leverage Entertainment; and Lorenzo di Bonaventura. John Hlavin wrote the pilot and will also executive produce. Simon Cellan Jones directed the pilot.

Ryan Phillippe (One Life to Live, Secrets and Lies) is a producer on the project and will star as Bob Lee Swagger, an expert marksman living in exile who is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. Omar Epps (House) plays Isaac Johnson, an ex-Marine and former commanding officer of Swagger. Now a Secret Service Agent, he solicits Swagger's expertise for a clandestine operation that has disastrous results.

'Mr. Robot' Finale Postponed Until September 2

Wednesday night's Mr. Robot finale has been postponed and will now air next Wednesday, September 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Below is the official explanation from USA:

"The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today’s tragic events in Virginia. Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode. Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time."

USA Picks up Drama Pilot 'Shooter' Starring Ryan Phillippe

USA Network has announced a pilot pick-up for the hour-long scripted drama Shooter and has locked in Ryan Phillippe (Secrets and Lies, One Life to Live) to star.

Shooter is based on the best-selling Bob Lee Swagger novel by Stephen Hunter, "Point of Impact," and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg.

The co-production with Paramount Television and Universal Cable Productions comes from executive producers Wahlberg of Closest to the Hole Productions; Stephen Levinson of Leverage Entertainment; and Lorenzo di Bonaventura. John Hlavin (The Shield) wrote the pilot and will also executive produce. Simon Cellan Jones is set to direct the pilot.

Phillippe is a producer on the project and will star as Bob Lee Swagger, an off-the-grid former Marine sniper who is coaxed into action to thwart the killing of the President. Ultimately double-crossed and framed for the attempt, he must call upon all the skills he acquired as a decorated Marine sharpshooter to avoid capture while hunting down and exposing the traitors who set him up.

USA Starts Production on 'Complications'

USA Network today announced the start of production on its new high-octane original drama, Complications, which began shooting this week in Atlanta, Georgia. The 10-episode original series from Executive Producer and Burn Notice creator, Matt Nix, stars Jason O’Mara (Vegas) and is set to premiere in 2015.

“‘Complications is a story about the making of a hero - how an ordinary doctor’s split-second decision changes the course of his life and the lives of everyone around him,” said Nix. “It’s tremendous to be working with USA again and with such a talented cast. The writers’ room is going strong and I cannot wait for audiences to see this new series.”

USA Network Announces Pilot Pick-Up for New Drama Series 'Mr. Robot'

USA Network announced today the pilot pick-up of the new drama series; Mr. Robot from executive producers Sam Esmail (Comet) and Anonymous Content's Steve Golin (True Detective) and Chad Hamilton (Breakup at a Wedding). Mr. Robot joins the previously announced pilot pick-up of Stanistan, a drama about State Department workers, covert CIA officers and journalists who operate in a delicate balance of danger and levity, from Universal Cable Productions (UCP).

"Mr. Robot is a visionary drama." said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network. "It is a very timely and relatable story that captures both the excitement and danger of today's digital world."

Mr. Robot is a contemporary, culturally resonant drama about a young programmer, Elliot, who suffers from a debilitating anti-social disorder and decides that he can only connect to people by hacking them. He wields his skills as a weapon to protect the people that he cares about. Elliot will find himself in the intersection between a cybersecurity firm he works for and the underworld organizations that are recruiting him to bring down corporate America. From writer and executive producer Esmail and executive producers Golin and Hamilton from Anonymous Content, MR. ROBOT is from Universal Cable Productions.

USA Network Announces Cast-Contingent Pilot Pick Up for the Drama Series 'Stanistan'

USA Network is set to add more original series for the 2014-2015 television season. The network today announced the cast-contingent pilot pick-up for the hour-long original drama series Stanistan (Universal Cable Productions) and a strong development pipeline of original series.

Stanistan follows the staff at the American compound in the Middle Eastern country of Stanistan, where State Department workers, covert CIA officers and journalists operate in a delicate balance of danger and silliness using every coping mechanism available. From Universal Cable Productions, Stanistan is written by Andy Parker who is also supervising producer, Richard Scarth, Mary Louise Vitelli and Maureen Ryan serving as co-executive producers. Steve Scheffer is executive producing.

The network’s development slate boasts television and film notables including, Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation), Jodie Foster (Elysium), Jessica Biel (Playing for Keeps), Peter Tolan (Rescue Me) and Carlton Cuse (Bates Motel), among others.

NBC and USA to Remake Telemundo Telenovelas in English

Telemundo has optioned its highest-rated novela El Señor de los Cielos (The Lord of the Skies) to NBCUniversal Entertainment to develop for English-language audiences.

El Señor de los Cielos is inspired by the true story of Aurelio Casillas, one of the most prominent Mexican drug lords from the 1990s. It ranked as Telemundo's most-watched novela last year, averaging 2.3 million total viewers and nearly 1.5 million adults 18-49.

USA Announces Summer 2014 Schedule

USA Network announced its summer lineup on Wednesday with four returning series and two new dramas. The network is rolling out all-new episodes of its critically acclaimed original series in June, with ROYAL PAINS (June 10), SUITS (June 11), GRACELAND (June 11) and COVERT AFFAIRS (June 24). July 17 will see the launch of the two newest dramas, RUSH, featuring renegade, bad-boy physician Dr. William P. Rush (Tom Ellis, "Miranda) at 9/8c, followed by SATISFACTION at 10/9c starring Matt Passmore ("The Glades") and Stephanie Szostak ("The Devil Wears Prada").

Anne Heche Joins USA Network's International Thriller DIG

Emmy Award-winning television and film actress Anne Heche (ex-Vicky/Marley, ANOTHER WORLD) has been tapped as a series regular on USA Network's six episode event series DIG, an action adventure drama from co-creators and executive producers Tim Kring (HEROES) and Gideon Raff (HOMELAND). She joins previously announced star Jason Isaacs (AWAKE). DIG, from Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and developed by Keshet, in association with executive producers Gail Berman and Gene Stein of Tecumseh Productions, will shoot in Jerusalem as well as other international locations. The event series will premiere on USA Network in late 2014.

USA Network Greenlights Untitled Sean Jablonski Drama Pilot Series

USA Network has greenlit the new original Sean Jablonski drama pilot to series with a 10 episode order, including the pilot. The series is from Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and executive producer Sean Jablonski (SUITS, NIP/TUCK) and stars Matt Passmore (THE GLADES). It is slated to premiere this summer.

"This is a powerful new addition to our drama slate and marks the next generation of sophisticated storytelling for USA,” said USA Network President Chris McCumber. “Through a culturally resonant story of an imperfect marriage, the series takes a captivating look at real modern day issues facing couples in today’s complicated world.”

Ryan McPartlin To Guest Star on USA Network's New Comedy PLAYING HOUSE

Ryan McPartlin has been tapped to appear in USA Network's new series PLAYING HOUSE. McPartlin will play Steve, a hunky officer who helps Maggie (Lennon Parham) and Emma (Jessica St. Clair) install their baby seat. PLAYING HOUSE, starring and executive produced by Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair, will premiere in the spring of 2014. USA Network's SUITS Visits College Campuses Across the Country

USA Network is bringing SUITS' sophisticated legal world directly to its highly engaged collegiate fans when the show embarks on a nationwide SUITS College Tour ahead of the mid-season premiere, Thursday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The tour will stop at seven universities, including Harvard, which is prominently spotlighted in the series, and feature SUITS-driven activities and an advanced screening of the SUITS premiere. For students who do not attend one of the seven listed schools, they can nominate their college at SUITSonCampus.com. The top 10 schools will compete in a socially-driven competition to win an exclusive screening of the season 3 finale.

USA Sets 2014 Premiere Dates For SUITS, SIRENS, PYSCH and WHITE COLLAR

USA Network will premiere a dynamic Thursday night line-up this March featuring the mid-season premiere of the critically-acclaimed series SUITS on Thursday, March 6 at 9/8c, followed by the series premiere of new half-hour comedy SIRENS at 10 p.m. ET. The highly anticipated eighth season of PSYCH returns on Wednesday, January 8 at 9/8c and WHITE COLLAR comes back from hiatus on Thursday, January 9 at 9 p.m. ET.

Season three of the popular series SUITS returns Thursday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET with six episodes, and features guest star appearances by the most decorated Olympian of all-time, Michael Phelps (playing himself as a client of Pearson Specter) and Gabriel Macht's famous father, Stephen Macht. Picking up in the wake of an emotional and shattering murder trial, Harvey (G. PSYCH THE MUSICAL Premieres on Sunday, December 15

On Sunday, December 15, USA Network's hit series PSYCH presents a spectacular two-hour musical special, PSYCH THE MUSICAL. Fans have been waiting years for this musical extravaganza that will have everyone's favorite faux psychic, his best friend and the Santa Barbara Police Department's finest all kicking up their heels and singing 14 original songs.

In the special, Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) dive into a world that's equal parts mystery and melody. The duo must track down playwright and mad man, Z (guest star Anthony Rapp, "Rent"), who six years earlier was deemed criminally insane after trapping a critic in the theater and burning it to the ground. With little to go on, they are forced to consult with the one person Z confided in while institutionalized -- a dangerous and familiar villain from Shawn's past. Their informant uses songs and cryptic clues to reveal Z's next steps.

PSYCH creator/executive producer Steve Franks wrote and directed PSYCH THE MUSICAL, and along with music composer Adam Cohen, co-wrote the 14 original songs and reprises. The music and lyrics were recorded in part on the iconic Sinatra stage at Capital Records in Los Angeles. In addition to Rapp, guest stars include Ally Sheedy (The Breakfast Club) who returns as the infamous Mr. Yang, Tony Award Winner Barry Bostwick, Brooke Lyons and Jimmi Simpson plus Kurt Fuller who recurs as Woody the coroner.

COVERT AFFAIRS Renewed For Fifth Season

USA's hit original international spy drama series, COVERT AFFAIRS, has received a 16-episode fifth season renewal order. The series was one of summer's top 10 cable scripted shows, with nearly 4 million total viewers P2+ (3.955MM).

"No other series on television travels the globe to tell a story like COVERT AFFAIRS, and we are pleased to bring it back for another season" said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network. "With its intricate storytelling, diverse characters and authentic locations, the series continues to be a cornerstone in our line-up of USA's original signature dramas."

USA Network Orders Second Season of GRACELAND

USA Network today announced a 13-episode second season order for the provocative one-hour hit drama series GRACELAND, which follows a group of elusive undercover agents who live in a web of lies while operating under the same roof. Inspired by true events, the series is summer's #1 new scripted series in cable among P18-49 with 1.8M viewers, and has captured a broad audience to-date, averaging 4M total viewers P2+. The announcement was made today by USA Network President Chris McCumber.

On Thursday, September 12 at 9 p.m. ET, after seven unforgettable seasons, the Emmy-nominated original drama BURN NOTICE comes to an end that fans won't want to miss.
