'Days of our Lives' Alum True O'Brien to Guest Star on 'Code Black'

Former Days of our Lives actress True O'Brien recently guest-starred as Stella in OWN's Queen Sugar. She will be back in primetime on Wednesday, November 9, on an episode of the CBS drama Code Black.

In the episode, Malaya (Melanie Chandra) must inform a college student who regains consciousness at Angels Memorial that she's the victim of a rape, and Willis and Campbell butt heads over a terminally ill woman who wants to end her life on her own terms.

Annabeth Gish guest stars as Geraldine, the mother of the terminally ill girl; Richard Lewis guest stars as Stewart, a stand-up comedian who collapsed while on stage, and Stephen Culp (ex-Dan, One Life to Live; ex-Tom, Another World) returns as Desmond Leighton, Angus and Mike's father. O'Brien plays Joy Samton.

O'Brien joins Days as Paige Larson in 2014, and played the role until the character was murdered by the Necktie Killer last year.

True O'Brien is latest actor revealed to be leaving Days of our Lives as it transitions into stories from the show's new head writing team (Dena Higley and Josh Griffith) in late summer and fall. She has played Paige Larson since 2014.

She joins an exit list that includes Melissa Archer (Serena Mason), Paul Telfer (Xander Cook), Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis), Terrell Ransom Jr. (Theo Carver), Lauren Boles (Ciara Brady), Riley Bodenstab (Cole Hines) and Alisha Boe (Daphne). Daniel Cosgrove (Aiden Jennings) and James Read (Clyde Weston) are also rumored to be on their way out.

Paige will be an early of the latest Salem serial killer. She will die on the September 8 episode of Days.

In other Days cast news, TV Line is reporting that Aloma Wright (Maxine Landis) will recur on Season 5 of USA Network's Suits as Harvey's new legal secretary, Gretchen Bodinski. There's no word on if this will impact her recurring daytime role.

'Days of our Lives' Spoilers: Patsy Pease Returning

Days of our Lives fan favorite character Kim Donovan hasn't been seen since November 2013 but she's about to make another appearance. Actress Patsy Pease is returning to Days next week in story involving Kim's step-daughter, Eve (Kassie DePaiva), and step-granddaughter, Paige (True O'Brien).

Eve desperately wants to get Paige away from her Paige's boyfriend, JJ (Casey Moss), and uses her father's condition to make it happen. Eve and Paige head to California to visit Shane and Kim.

On Tuesday, December 23, Kim tells Paige that Shane had some tests run but he's going to be fine. How will Paige react when she finds out Eve exaggerated the situation? Stay tuned!

True O'Brien Joins DAYS OF OUR LIVES

True O'Brien has joined the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Paige.  She first appears on the Monday, March 3 episode.

O'Brien appeared as Diamond Bloodworth on The Disney Channel's JESSIE in 2012.
