THE WHITE QUEEN Will Screen On Starz August 9th After MAGIC CITY Finale

Starz announced on Friday that an advance screening of the highly anticipated period drama THE WHITE QUEEN would air on Friday, August 9th at 10 p.m. ET/PT following the season two finale of 1959 mob drama MAGIC CITY at 9 p.m. Starz also shared a new trailer for the 10-episode limited series. Starz Acquires THE WHITE QUEEN

Philippa Gregory’s series of three international and New York Times best selling novels, “The Cousins War,” are the basis of the next addition to the growing lineup of STARZ Original series. Set against the backdrop of England’s Wars of the Roses, THE WHITE QUEEN, a 10-episode series, will be an adaptation of Gregory’s vivid historical novels "The White Queen," “The Red Queen” and “The Kingmaker’s Daughter.”
