TV Guide Magazine Unveils The 2013 Hot List

TV Guide Magazine unveiled their annual Hot List issue Monday night at an exclusive VIP party at The Emerson Theater. The issue celebrates the year’s hottest television shows, stars and trends. Cover stars Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen along with their MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D costars Elizabeth Henstridge, Brett Dalton, Jeph Loeb and Chloe Bennett attended the bash. Allison Janney, Anna Faris, Sharon Osbourne, Bellamy Young, Bianca Lawson, Nick Lachey and many more came out for the event.

“TV Guide Magazine has always had its finger on the pulse of what’s hot in television,” said TV Guide Magazine President and Editor-in-Chief Debra Birnbaum. “The Hot List is one of our most anticipated issues of the year, and we were thrilled to unveil it last night.”

VENICE was voted favorite indie series for the 10th time in 11 weeks.

VENICE returned to the top spot as favorite show for the second consecutive week. WATCH: Premiere of Michelle Stafford's New Web Series THE STAFFORD PROJECT

Michelle Stafford's last episode as Phyllis in THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS aired on Friday, August 2nd.  Now we get to watch her in a brand new web series, THE STAFFORD PROJECT, a satirical comedy where she plays "Michelle Stafford", an exaggerated version of herself.

THE STAFFORD PROJECT was created by Stafford, Paige Long and Paige Dorian. Check out the premiere episode ("Technicalities") below.

While Waiting For THE STAFFORD PROJECT, Catch Up On CYNTHIA WATROS GETS LOST

If you are anxiously waiting for the premiere of Michelle Stafford's web series THE STAFFORD PROJECT (like we are), now is a great time to catch up on CYNTHIA WATROS GETS LOST. Both Indie comedies feature an exaggerated look at former Daytime Emmy-winning actresses living their lives, and the degrading things that happen to them along the way. Cynthia Watros won at The ISAs this year for her work, and we can't wait to see what Stafford comes up with on her project (streaming this month).

Check out the four episodes of CYNTHIA WATROS GETS LOST below, including the recently released "lost" episode. Although WATROS has now finished its run, we can't help but wish these two shows would do a crossover. Please!

Michelle Stafford on Y&R Exit: 'My Going Had Nothing To Do With Jill and Josh'

In a very interesting interview with TV Guide Magazine, departing THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS actress Michelle Stafford talked about leaving daytime's top-rated soap (her last airdate Friday, August 2nd) and previewed her upcoming indie comedy THE STAFFORD PROJECT.

"My going had nothing to do with Jill [Farren Phelps] and Josh [Griffith]," Stafford said when asked about Y&R's current executive producer and head writer. "You don't leave a show you love after 15 years because of one person, or two people. At least I don't. That just doesn't make sense. But, if people are pissed, I can see why they might find Jill and Josh an easy target. Nobody should be mad at them."

Departing THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Emmy-winning actress Michelle Stafford has posted a teaser for her upcoming Indie satire THE STAFFORD PROJECT. On July 28, she took to Twitter to answer fan questions about the series. She described the show as a "comedy web series about an actress named Michelle Stafford who tries 2 juggle everything as it continuously blows up in her face."

When asked how many episodes are planned, she replied, "8 so far!! Hopefully in the long run 88!!"
