The second season finale of THURSTON was voted favorite web series followed by the series finale of THE INN. PROFESSIONAL FRIEND was third, with STALLIONS DE AMOR coming in fourth and HE'S WITH ME finishing fifth.

Denise Alexander is turning in a fantastic performance as Lola in Steve Silverman's spooky web series THE INN, which kicked off its third and final season today.

We Love Soaps recently caught up with Ms. Alexander to discuss her portrayal of THE INN's coffee shop owner as well as her return to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Lesley Webber in 2013. Check out Part 2 of our exclusive INNterview below:

WE LOVE SOAPS: It's great to hear your return to GENERAL HOSPITAL was such a positive experience.
DENISE ALEXANDER: I think I had a terrible problem with a pinched nerve when I was working. But when I look back on it, I don't remember being in pain. I don't remember anything except what a wonderful experience that was. I so much enjoyed what we did. We all did.

Denise Alexander stars as Lola on THE INN

Legendary daytime actress Denise Alexander has been acting since she was a child, starring in primetime series in the 1950s and 1960s before taking on several daytime soap opera roles. She starred as Susan Hunter Martin in DAYS OF OUR LIVES before her most famous role, Lesley Webber in GENERAL HOSPITAL.

In recent years she has expanded her horizons even further playing memorable characters in two web series, comedy smash PRETTY and mysterious and spooky THE INN. She stars opposite Crystal Chappell in THE INN, which premiered earlier this year and is returning on October 7th for its third and final season.

INTERVIEW: Steve Silverman Previews The Hot as Hell Web Series Festival

PRETTY and THE INN creator Steve Silverman teamed up with FUMBLING THRU THE PIECES creator Julie Smith earlier this year and founded the Hot as Hell Web Series Festival, which will debut in Palm Springs on Friday, August 16. They pulled in a few other top-notch showrunners (from DEVANITY and VENICE) and came up with what promises to be a unique and fun three-day event. We Love Soaps caught up with the Indie Soap Award-winning Silverman to find out more.

So how did the idea for this Fan Fest come about?

"Julie Smith and I have been very good friends for several years now," Silverman explained. "A couple of months ago right as the festivals were gearing up--LA Webfest, Hollyweb Fest---I turned to Julie and said, 'These festivals are great. Why aren't we doing our own thing? And why aren't we doing something that's fan based? Why don't we do something for the fans?'"
