La Esclava Blanca tells the story of Victoria (Camacho), a young woman saved from death and raised in secret by a family of slaves. Forced to leave her loved ones, on the grounds that a white woman should not associate with slaves, Victoria returns home a marchioness determined to take on anyone who tries to stop her from freeing her adoptive family, confront her parents’ killers, and reunite with the love of her life, Miguel (Suarez).

Born in Spain, Nerea Camacho, who at the age of 12 became the third youngest actor to win a Goya Award, plays “Victoria Quintero,” an indomitable white woman with the heart and soul of a rebellious slave. Meanwhile, Spanish actor Miguel de Miguel returns to TELEMUNDO in the antagonist role of “Nicolás Parreño,” an unscrupulous and ambitious businessman who will do anything to keep his hold on power and money. Also joining the cast, in his first appearance in an international production, is Cuban actor Orian Suarez with the role of “Miguel”, and Modesto Lacen, recently seen in the network’s hit bio-pic music series “Celia,” who will bring to life the role of “Tomás.” The supporting cast includes Luciano D’Alessandro, Miroslava Morales, Ricardo Vesga, Viña Machado, Andrés Suárez and Natasha Klauss, among others.

Written by Eduardo Galdo and María Helena Porta and directed by Liliana Bocanegra, La Esclava Blanca is a production of Caracol Televisión.

Production Begins on Telemundo Telenovela 'Eva La Trailera'

Eva La Trailera will premiere in 2016 on Telemundo.
Production has started on Telemundo's upcoming telenovela, Eva La Trailera, marking the return of acclaimed Mexican actress Edith González to the network. Set to premiere in the first quarter of 2016, the Miami-based production also stars Jorge Luis Pila and Arap Bethke. Eva La Trailera tells the story of a strong, determined and impetuous woman more than ready to take on any challenge. But life deals her a series of cruel betrayals, forcing her to make decisions that lead her down increasingly difficult paths.

Through ambition and perseverance, she rises through the ranks to become the owner of the “Mon-sol” trucking empire. Despite her newfound wealth, Eva remains a humble person who understands that life is like an endless road that asks us to make constant decisions about the right direction to take. It is this understanding that will help her face life’s most difficult challenges.

Pila co-stars as Armando Montes, Eva's husband, whose friendly façade hides a selfish and vain man with a violent nature who ends up causing great harm to his family. He finds a rival for Eva’s love in Pablo Contreras (Bethke), a responsible young detective with strong moral values who brings a new sense of hope to Eva’s life.

Joining the stars of Eva La Trailera is a stellar supporting cast featuring Erika de la Rosa, Vanessa Bauche, Javier Díaz Dueñas, Henry Zakka, Roberto Mateos, Alfredo Huereca, Karen Sentíes, Mónica Sánchez Navarro, María Raquenel, Sofía Lama, Antonio Gaona, Minnie West, Martha Mijares, Paloma Márquez, Ana Osorio, Jonathan Freudman, Jorge Eduardo García, Nicolle Apollonio, Michelle Vargas, Adrián Carvajal, Tony Vela and Gustavo Pedraza.

Eva La Trailera is an original Telemundo Studios production written by Valentina Párraga (La Patrona and Los Miserables), directed by Leonardo Galavis (Donde Esta Elisa?) and Nicolás Di Blasi (Bajo El Mismo Cielo), and produced by Martha Godoy (La Patrona, El Señor de los Cielos), with Joshua Mintz supervising.
