TV Guide Magazine is reporting that two-time Emmy winner Ken Howard will appear on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as George, the long-estranged dad of battling sibs Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Avery (Jessica Collins). He starts shooting at Y&R on January 19 and will begin a four-episode arc February 23. Howard is best known to TV fans for his role as Ken Reeves on THE WHITE SHADOW in the late 1970s. He also ran a run on THE COLBYS (Season 1) and DYNASTY (a blast from Dominique's past). He is currently serving as SAG National President.
In other Y&R news, Signy Coleman will be making another appearance as Hope in February.
