Victoria Rowell, Shemar Moore & Mishael Morgan Returning to 'Young and the Restless' for Kristoff St. John Tribute

Three former cast members will return to The Young and the Restless to help say goodbye to longtime star Kristoff St. John, who died on February 4 at the age of 52.

Shemar Moore (Malcolm Winters), Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Winters) and Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis Winters) will participate in several episodes of the CBS daytime drama to pay final respects to St. John, who played Neil Winters since 1991. According to EW, Moore will reprise his role as Neil’s brother for two episodes airing April 25-26, while Rowell and Morgan will appear as themselves in a special tribute episode on April 29. The latter will include former and current cast members sharing memories of St. John and will also feature clips of St. John's most memorable moments.

Moore made his last appearance on Y&R as Neil's brother in September 2014. Rowell's Drucilla was a fan favorite from 1990-2007. Morgan played Hilary Curtis from 2013-18.

The Y&R plot line will address St. John’s passing beginning April 23. Genoa City learns of the unexpected death of Neil, so family and friends gather to remember their beloved father, colleague, brother, and friend. The story will continue through the remainder of the week.

“We all miss Kristoff immensely and are understandably still in a bit of shock,” says executive producer Anthony Morina to EW. “Our hope is that this storyline and tribute episode airing in April will honor the legendary character Kristoff helped create, and provide our audience with the opportunity to say a meaningful goodbye to Neil Winters.”

'Criminal Minds' Guest Star Stole $60K from 'The Young and the Restless' Alum Shemar Moore

Shemar Moore
A former costar embezzled over $60,000 from former The Young and the Restless heartthrob Shemar Moore.

Keith Tisdell, whom Moore met on the set of nighttime drama Criminal Minds, diverted funds from a charity Moore started, reported Soap Central Tuesday.

Moore expressed feelings of betrayal in a pre-court appearance statement. “You don’t do this to people,” he said.

Moore and Tisdell hit it off and started a friendship and furthered their professional association after the two costarred on Criminal Minds in 2006. Tisdell again appeared on the series in 2013. Moore starred as Derek Morgan in eleven seasons of the CBS cop drama from 2005-2016.

In addition to forming a personal bond with Tisdell, Moore invited him to work at his charity, Baby Girl, for survivors of Multiple Sclerosis. Moore’s mother also battles the disease. "Baby Girl" was Derek’s catch-phrase on Criminal Minds, reported On Air On Soaps last Friday.

Shemar Moore Returning to 'The Young and the Restless' for Two Episodes in September

For the first time in nearly a decade, CBS Daytime veteran and Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore will return to The Young and the Restless for a special two-day guest appearance, Wednesday, September 10 and Thursday, September 11.

Moore, who appeared as a series regular for 11 years (1994–2002 and 2004–2005), will reprise his role as the charismatic Malcolm Winters, a portrayal that earned him a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2000.

During his two-day return, Moore will reunite with longtime friend and co-star Kristoff St. John, who portrays his on-screen brother, Neil Winters.

In the episodes, Malcolm returns to Genoa City after leaving town years before without a proper goodbye. Now, he's back for an important visit with the Winters family to make amends and catch up on everything he’s missed.

"I am excited about returning to The Young and the Restless as a special guest," said Moore. "This is where I got my start and I am looking forward to reuniting with my soap opera family."

Shemar Moore: 'Ready For That Next Phase Of My Career'

In a surprisingly candid interview with BET.com, former THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS star Shemar Moore talks about his next move, the challenges he faced growing up biracial in Oakland and why "it's no accident" he's still single. Plus, he talks about his tabloid-heavy relationships with Toni Braxton and Halle Berry. Below are a few interview highlights:

BET.com: Have you started thinking about your next move?
Shemar Moore: To be honest, if it works out I have many good reasons to stay, but leaving would give me the one thing I haven't had in a long time, which is freedom. After eight years on YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and eight years on CRIMINAL MINDS, I'm ready for that next phase of my career. I wanna chase down Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith. I would love to start my film career. But it's all pending what the network decides it wants to do next.

NEWS ROUNDUP: Frank Valentini On Genie Francis' Return, Shemar Moore Shows Off Six-Pack On ANDERSON; Lifetime Cancels DROP DEAD DIVA

Executive producer Frank Valentini previews the return of Genie Francis to GENERAL HOSPITAL on February 11
“She’s coming back because Port Charles is her home and there were reasons why she was away,” he told AccessHollywood.com at ABC’s bash last Thursday, following the Television Critics Association Winter Session 2013. “I think it’ll be exciting for the audience to discover what those reasons are and to sort of stay with a little bit of the mystery of Laura’s return.”

Asked if Laura’s return could be related to her daughter Lulu, who has fertility issues (and whose best friend, Maxie, just lost the baby she was carrying for Lulu and husband Dante), Valentini said it will.
