We Love Soaps forgot to send greetings to British dark comedy soap opera Shades of Bad, and now we're concerned about being on their bad side. You do not want to make Doris Shades (played by the magnificent Jean Heard) mad!

In July, we told you about British dark comedy soap opera Shades of Bad--created by Stuart St Paul--which tells the story of Doris Shades (Jean Heard) and her very complicated life. So far we've seen Doris confront her neighbor, Wilma Mulholland (Lynn Beaumont), over Wilma's affair with Doris' husband, and met Doris' mother-in-law Elsie Tenner (Donna Flinn) and daughter, Susie (Rachel Morgan). Doris has decided to murder her cheating husband, but things never seem to work out exactly as she has planned. The show will keep you guessing about what twist is coming next.

The ongoing Shades of Bad saga has shot episodes well into the future so if you're looking for an online continuing serial to invest in, this might be the one.  There are a number of exciting plans in the works as the series improves and expands.

Stuart St Paul is an internationally acclaimed award winning action movie director and stunt coordinator. His impressive career includes a 26 year stint at popular UK soap Emmerdale, and a long list of credits including Band Of Gold, Casualty, The Bill, Red Riding and Coronation Street. On the comedy side, he has worked on numerous series such as My Parents Are Aliens, We Are Klang and Grown Ups.

St Paul has now written and produced Shades of Bad, which combines elements of a continuing drama with dark comedy to achieve hilarious results. With episodes around three minutes long, released every Sunday, the production team is starting to stockpile episodes, ensuring the series will be around for the long haul. It's easy to watch, the story is fun, and the production values are solid.
