'The Fosters' Sneak Peek: It's My Party

Jude surprises Callie with a 17th birthday party in an all-new episode of The Fosters, airing Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.

In "It's My Party," Callie (Maia Mitchell) thinks she's celebrating her 17th birthday with just the family, but Jude (Hayden Byerly) surprises her with a house party. Jude’s surprise risks exposing both Callie's and Mariana's (Cierra Ramirez) secrets when he innocently invites Rafael (Alberto De Diego) and Wyatt (Alex Saxon) to attend.

Meanwhile, Brandon's (David Lambert) suspicions about AJ's (Tom Williamson) behavior come to a head, and Mariana and Callie decide to buy a car together without telling their moms.

Rosie O'Donnell Returning to 'The Fosters' in August

Emmy Award-winning comedian, host, and actor Rosie O'Donnell will return to guest star on ABC Family's hit drama series The Fosters. O'Donnell reprises her role as Rita Henricks, a tough yet compassionate woman who works in the foster care system and grows close to Callie (Maia Mitchell). She will appear in two episodes to air in August.

The Fosters is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. The second season of The Fosters premieres on Monday, June 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.

Winner of 2014's GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Drama Series and 2013's Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Show, The Fosters is executive-produced by Jennifer Lopez, (American Idol, What to Expect When You're Expecting, The Back-Up Plan) and created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige (Queer As Folk), who also serve as executive producers and writers, along with Joanna Johnson (The Bold and the Beautiful).

The Fosters stars Teri Polo as Stef Adams Foster, Sherri Saum as Lena Adams Foster, Jake T. Austin as Jesus Adams Foster, Hayden Byerly as Jude Adams Foster, David Lambert as Brandon Adams Foster, Maia Mitchell as Callie Jacob, Danny Nucci as Mike Foster and Cierra Ramirez as Mariana Adams Foster. The new episode picks up where the summer cliffhanger left off.

The repercussions of Callie's decision to run away impact every member of the Foster family, including newlyweds Stef and Lena, who had offered to adopt the troubled teen. Both Jude and Brandon struggle with their own personal guilt about her running away. Mariana inadvertently discovers the whole story about Lexi’s upcoming trip to Honduras.

Rosie O'Donnell To Guest Star On THE FOSTERS

Rosie O'Donnell has signed on for a recurring role on ABC Family's hit drama series, THE FOSTERS.

O'Donnell will play Rita Hendricks, a tough yet compassionate woman who works in the foster care system and becomes a mentor to a member of the Foster family. She will appear in three episodes when the series returns in January 2014. Production on the second half of the show's first season will begin in October.

O'Donnell said, "I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful, heartwarming show. My kids and I never miss it."
