Billy Flynn
Days of our Lives star Billy Flynn teases what's ahead for Chad DiMera
"A lot of people are going to start to come after him," Flynn reveals. "He's going to have to figure out if he wants to stay in town and face up to maybe what he did, or is he going to run. Everybody keep watching. It's going to be a heck of a roller coaster the next couple of months."

Stephen Nichols names his favorite Days of our Lives moment
“There are so many scenes I remember fondly and so many great ones I’ve probably forgotten,” Nichols says. “But the one that’s still the most meaningful to me, after all these decades, took place [in 1986] when Steve was badly wounded and Kayla [Mary Beth Evans] took off his famous patch to clean his face.”

"Phyllis is such a strong character and it does take a strong energy to play her. She's a fighter, and what's fantastic about that is I get to portray that energy and entertain people with it," said Tognoni, who took over the role on the CBS daytime soap opera last year.

As the WWE Turns
Writes Barry Hess: "Simply categorizing the current failures of this angle as the result of ‘soap opera booking’ is widely inaccurate. Furthermore, the implication that good storytelling and melodrama do not go hand in hand is both absurd and shortsighted. If that were true soap operas like General Hospital or The Young and the Restless would not be capable of surviving 40 and 50 years after first hitting the airwaves."

When Mellie met Hillary: Bellamy Young chats Scandal with Clinton
When the Scandal star and the presidential hopeful finally met at a fundraising event in Atherton, California, in August, it was a First meeting for the ages (and arguably the most exciting display of FLOTUS on FLOTUS since Barbara Bush schooled Lady Bird Johnson in Mario Kart).

NEWS: Rosemary Prinz, Eric Braeden, Paige Turco, Dylan Bruce, Jacinda Barrett, Stevie Nicks, Chris Brochu

Former soap star Rosemary Prinz brings her warmth to Playhouse
Prinz, who played Penny Hughes on AS THE WORLD TURNS for 12 years among other soap roles, is in Cincinnati to star in Amy Herzog’s "4000 Miles" at Playhouse in the Park.

She’s still working hard at 84: "My idea of a perfect way to go is, you finish the show, you take your bow, the curtain comes down and that’s it."

WWE shopping 'Raw,' 'Smackdown' and other TV properties
That doesn't mean that those shows will definitely be moving. Although NBCUniversal's exclusive negotiating window with the WWE expired over the weekend, it still has limited rights to match a competing offer.

However, NBCUniversal and WWE are far apart on a price. WWE is looking for a dramatic increase in rights fees and has retained Chris Bevilacqua, head of media advisory firm Bevilacqua Helfant Ventures, to negotiate its deal.

AS THE WORLD TURNS Star Rosemary Prinz on Irna Phillips: 'She Was The Meanest Bitch On The Planet'

The New York Times published a wonderful piece on Friday about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and how a live episode of AS THE WORLD TURNS was interrupted the afternoon of Nov. 22, 1963. At the moment of the assassination, the show was the only regular program being broadcast nationally by a major network — specifically, throughout the Eastern and Central time zones."

Don Hastings (Bob Hughes) was interviewed by the Times and recalled overhearing a cameraman say to someone in the control room, "Don’t tell the actors what? The president’s been shot?"

CLASSIC ATWT Photo of the Day: Rosemary Prinz

Without a doubt, one of ATWT's most beloved long-running heroines in its entirey history was Penny Hughes, as played by Rosemary Prinz. Penny and her first husband, Jeff Baker, were daytime TV's first "super couple," and fans were outraged when Jeff was killed off in 1962 when actor Mark Ryder left the show. Prinz left the show in 1968 having tired of the grind of appearing in a daily series and desiring to work more in live theater.

After stints on ALL MY CHILDREN and HOW TO SURVIVE A MARIRAGE in the 1970s, the actress finally returned to AS THE WORLD TURNS for multiple guest spots on the series from the mid-1980s onward. Unfortunately, there has been no mention of her returning for a guest spot before the series ends. Wouldn't it have been entirely appropriate for the last original cast member of the show still alive to return for its finale?
