Robert S. Woods Signs On For New ONE LIFE TO LIVE; Erika Slezak Too?

According to a report by Showbiz411.com, Robert S. Woods has officially signed on to reprise his role as Bo Buchanan in Prospect Park's new ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Below is an excerpt from Roger Friedman's report which also says Erika Slezak (Viki) is on board as well.
I talked to Robert S. Woods today, the great actor who plays Bo Buchanan. He told me he’s met with the Prospect-ors, and they’ve made a deal for Woods to join the new show.

Yesterday, Robin Strasser announced on Twitter that she was coming back, too. Sources also say that Erika Slezak, the nominal “star” of “OLTL” has made her deal, along with Jerry verDorn (Clint Buchanan). It does seem like Prospect Park is going to make a ‘go’ of this.

Writers and producers appear to have been hired for both shows’ online versions. Woods says he thinks they’ll be back to work by mid February.

Susan Lucci Contacted For ALL MY CHILDREN Revival

Showbiz411 is reporting that Susan Lucci has been contacted by Prospect Park Productions about a possible ALL MY CHILDREN revival. Lucci has been busy in 2012 hosting her new Investigation Discovery show, DEADLY AFFAIRS, and shooting the new Lifetime primetime soap, DEVIOUS MAIDS.

Don’t get excited just yet. I have been told by a very good source that Prospect Park Productions has contacted Susan Lucci, aka Erica Kane, about a revival of “All My Children” online and maybe on cable. There have been reports in the last couple of days that Prospect Park, whose license with ABC on “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” is trying to re-activate the much-missed soap operas. A friend of Lucci told me yesterday: “There have been some talks, but the word wasn’t supposed to get out yet.” Hmmmm….

FLASHBACK: Robert S. Woods Previews 'Roseanne' Guest Appearance (1994)

ROBERT S. WOODS SHOWS THAT BO KNOWS COMEDY

By Marla Hart
Chicago Tribune
May 12, 1994

As the cowboy son of a greedy Texas oil man, with a cow chip on his shoulder and a wardrobe that could best be described as "plaid," Robert S. Woods joined the cast of ONE LIFE TO LIVE to play Bo Buchanan 15 years ago.

Since then, Woods has managed to keep the heroics interesting as Bo has been pitted against rich relations, self-destructive blonds and murderous frat boys. But this last year has offered Woods, 44, one of the greatest challenges of his daytime career: romantic comedy. Trying to do a breezy romp in a medium that thrives on plodding melodrama is not an easy task.
