Thursday Night Ratings: PARENTHOOD Up, SCANDAL #1 Most Social TV Program

SCANDAL won the Adults 18-49 demo on Thursday night (March 6) and was the #1 most social TV program for the night. Check out a roundup of Thursday ratings reports below including the Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings Daily Top 5:

ABC Thursday Prime (8-11 p.m. – 6.6 million and 2.1/6 in AD18-49): ABC finished a strong second on Thursday night in Adults 18-49 (2.1/6), outdelivering Fox by 40% (1.5/4) and NBC by 91% (1.1/3). For the 2nd week in a row, the Net ranked #1 on the night in Adults 18-34 and key Women (W18-34/W18-49).

ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND "Who's Alice" Sneak Peek

The first season of ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND continues on Thursday, November 21st at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC with "Who's Alice."

Jafar pays a visit to the Asylum and Dr. Lydgate to uncover information about Alice, while in Wonderland, Alice heads to the Black Forest on her quest.

Meanwhile, the Knave is awakened by magic with the help of an unlikely ally and he goes in search of Alice only to find her in terrible danger, and Cyrus does his best to evade the Red Queen.

In flashback, Alice returns to Victorian England and her father after losing Cyrus.

When the Knave's life is in danger, Alice has to make the tough decision on whether to use one of her three precious wishes and what that would mean for her and Cyrus. Her new friendship with Lizard reveals some of the Knave's backstory and Cyrus plots to escape.

The first season of ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND continues on Thursday, October 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC with "Forget Me Not."

In a flashback, viewers are introduced to Will Scarlet, who turns out to be the nifty Knave of Hearts. Will has joined Robin Hood's Merry Men and convinces them to steal gold from Maleficent's castle before also pilfering an enchanted looking glass for himself that comes with a hefty consequence.

The first season of ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND continues on Thursday, October 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC with "Trust Me."

In Wonderland, Alice concocts a plan to find Cyrus and uses his genie bottle as bait to find out who she's up against and who her real friends are.

Meanwhile, the Red Queen and Jafar face off and in flashback, viewers find out how Alice and Cyrus fell in love and how Cyrus ends up in Wonderland.

AS THE WORLD TURNS alum Billy Magnussen Joins HBO’s THE MONEY; Rosemary Harris, Mamie Gummer, Ray Liotta To Recur
Magnussen has been cast as a series regular, in the role of Greg Castman — the middle, and favorite, child of mogul/patriarch James Castman (Brendan Gleeson), who wields power and influence to expand his media empire and control his clan. Liotta, who starred on ANOTHER WORLD for three years, will recur as wealthy, entitled, untouchable Wall Street tycoon George Archer. Ruth Negga becomes a series regular, playing Erin Foley, the stylish, no-nonsense senior news editor who reports to John Castman.

Michael Cudlitz & Josh McDermitt join THE WALKING DEAD
Cudlitz has been cast in the role of Sgt. Abraham Ford, a pivotal character from the Robert Kirkman comic book series. McDermitt will play Dr. Eugene Porter, Ford's traveling companion in the comics who claims to know the origin of the outbreak.

In Victorian England, the young and beautiful Alice (Sophie Lowe) tells a tale of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole. An invisible cat, a hookah smoking caterpillar and playing-cards that talk are just some of the fantastic things she’s seen during this impossible adventure. Surely this troubled girl must be insane, and her doctors aim to cure her with a treatment that will make her forget everything.

ABC Announces 2014 Split Season Premiere Dates

Paul Lee, president, ABC Entertainment Group, today announced the premiere dates for new midseason series RESURRECTION and THE QUEST, along with spring premiere dates for key returning series, now structured into split seasons to allow for fewer or no preemptions or repeats.

New drama RESURRECTION will premiere on Sunday, March 9 at 10:00 p.m., ET, taking over the timeslot for BETRAYAL when that show's season concludes. New alternative series THE QUEST will debut on Thursday, January 2 with a special two-hour premiere from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET, moving into the timeslot held by ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND, following its season finale.

GH is hunting for an African-American actress, 25-37, to fill a contract role slated to begin shooting in September. "She changes a room just by entering it," the character description says.

"We always wanted to have Jafar be a part of this story," executive producer Edward Kitsis told fans at Saturday's Comic-Con panel. "It's going to be a very, very evil villain... When we had this character in mind, we knew we wanted Naveen to play it and when we asked him he said yes."

Peter Dinklage to guest on FAMILY GUY
He just got another nomination for best supporting actor on GAME OF THRONES and now he’s booked a fun gig — Peter Dinklage will appear on the next season of Fox's FAMILY GUY, along with a score of other guest stars. The full roster: Liam Neeson, Dennis Farina, Ashton Kutcher, Conan O’Brien, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Daniels, Jon Cryer, and Adam Levine.

Executive producer Bob Singer first announced the project during a press event at Comic-Con on Sunday.

Details are few and far between right now — it’s still early in the process — but here’s what we’ve gleaned: A new character will be introduced in or around Episode 20 (which will serve as a planted pilot for the new show). That character will then anchor the spin-off.

REVOLUTION Adds Stephen Collins as Rachel's Dad, Makes Season 2 Tweaks
Collins' casting was announced Saturday when producers unveiled a new teaser trailer for Season 2 at the show's Comic-Con panel.

Collins will be play Rachel's (Elizabeth Mitchell) father. "[He] brings an entirely new perspective on her, her upbringing," executive producer Rockne S. O'Bannon said. "He's a very important part of the world we got to inhabit in the first part of the season."

Cast additions are far from the only changes being made on the sophomore series. Creator and executive producer Eric Kripke said he and the writers have gone to great lengths to improve upon Season 1. "As good as it was, it needs to be better," Kripke said. "It was a lot of story about a light switch."

ABC 2013-2014 Schedule

Continuing to deliver some of the most compelling and heartfelt series on television, ABC is adding fourteen new shows to its established slate of programming. Paul Lee, President, ABC Entertainment Group, will unveil the network's new lineup to the advertising and media communities this afternoon at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

"We are taking some big swings with groundbreaking shows this season, and staying close to our roots with smart and sophisticated storytelling. ABC is known for its combination of innovation and stability, and our new schedule reflects that. We're bringing back the shows that viewers have embraced and enhancing the lineup with a slate of exciting new series," said Lee.
