'Nashville: On The Record', A One Hour Music Special Featuring Songs Performed by the Cast, Airs Tonight

ABC Music Lounge's and ABC Digital Media Studio's Nashville-inspired docu-web series, On The Record is going from your computer screen to your TV screen. Direct from Nashville's world famous Ryman Auditorium, cast members of the acclaimed primetime series Nashville will take the stage to perform show favorites then sit down in the Bluebird CafĂ© for acoustic performances and an intimate look at the songwriting process with the songwriters themselves, talking candidly about how this music found its way to the show and what it means to the actors and songwriters. Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio and Lennon & Maisy Stella are scheduled to appear. Nashville: On The Record airs Wednesday, April 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. All original music is released by ABC Studios, Lionsgate and ABC Music Lounge in association with Big Machine Records.

NASHVILLE-Inspired Docu-Web Series ON THE RECORD Features "Dreams," Performed by Hayden Panettiere and Jonathan Jackson

ABC Music Lounge's NASHVILLE-inspired docu-web series, ON THE RECORD, is live at the ABC Music Lounge with the original song "Dreams," written by Jaida Dreyer and Cory Mayo and performed by Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes and Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley. The song is available on iTunes and ABC.com/MusicLounge and featured on this week's episode of NASHVILLE.

"ON THE RECORD: Dreams" goes behind the scenes with "Nashville's" music producer Buddy Miller, music supervisor, Frankie Pine, songwriter Jaida Dreyer and the song's performers Hayden Panettiere and Jonathan Jackson. Through interviews, fans learn how important this week's featured song is to Hayden's character Juliette Barnes as she grows as an artist and as a person.

NASHVILLE Docu-Web Series ON THE RECORD Features "Sideshow"

ABC Music Lounge's NASHVILLE -inspired docu-web series, ON THE RECORD, is live at ABC Music Lounge with the original song, "Sideshow," co-written by songwriters Aaron Scherz and Brad Turi and performed by Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne. "Sideshow" is featured on the much anticipated soundtrack for the show, which is available now on iTunes and the ABC Music Lounge.

"On the Record: Sideshow" goes behind the scenes with the song's co-writers, Aaron Scherz and Brad Turi. Interviews from Callie Khouri (creator/executive producer), Dawn Soler (SVP of Music, ABC Studios) and Frankie Pine (music supervisor) reveal how some songs, when found, lend themselves so perfectly to the storytelling.

The fourth installment of the NASHVILLE inspired docu-web series, ON THE RECORD, is live at the ABC Music Lounge with the new original song, "No One Will Ever Love You," written by John Paul White and Steve McEwan and performed by show stars Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes and Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne. The song was first featured during the October 17 episode, "Someday You'll Call My Name."

With interviews from Britton, Esten, Callie Khouri (creator/executive producer) and R.J. Cutler (director/executive producer), ON THE RECORD shares how important the song, "No One Will Ever Love You" is for the narrative of NASHVILLE and Rayna Jaymes and Deacon Claybourne's deep history together.

ON THE RECORD: Examining "Undermine"

The second installment of ABC Music Lounge's NASHVILLE-inspired docu-web series, ON THE RECORD, is live with the new original song “Undermine,” written by Trent Dabbs and Kacey Musgraves and performed by show stars Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes and Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne. The song is a passion project for Panettiere’s character and appears multiple times in this week’s episode of NASHVILLE, which airs Wednesday, October 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

ON THE RECORD: Austin Peck


Austin Peck burst onto the soap scene in 1995 taking over the role of Austin Reed in DAYS OF OUR LIVES from Patrick Muldoon. He played Austin for eight years during two stints with the show. Since early 2007 he has played Brad Snyder on AS THE WORLD TURNS, a role he will be leaving later this year. Over the years, Peck has made a name for himself starring in numerous commercials, primetime television shows and several feature films.

On Friday, September 25, his latest film, The Blue Tooth Virgin, will be released by Regent Releasing/Here Films. In the movie, Peck plays Sam, an aspiring screenwriter, who asks his friend David, a successful magazine editor, to read this latest script. When David (Bryce Johnson) doesn't appreciate Sam's work, it causes a riff in their friendship. The film also stars Amber Benson, Karen Black, Roma Maffia and Lauren Stamile.

Earlier this week, Peck went "On the Record" with We Love Soaps about his background, his soap experiences, and why he was drawn to the role of Sam in The Blue Tooth Virgin.

WE LOVE SOAPS TV 1.04 Nicholas Rodriguez

On Episode 1.04 of WE LOVE SOAPS TV, Roger Newcomb welcomes ONE LIFE TO LIVE and Broadway actor Nicholas Rodriguez. Rodriguez shares thoughts about his life, his career and the future. He also gave us a sneak peak at what is ahead for Kyle, Fish and Nick. Rodriguez, the son of a football coach, is a talented singer, actor and entertainer who hails from Austin, Texas. He made his Broadway debut in "Tarzan" and has countless theater credits on his resume including "The Ten Commandments" with AMERICAN IDOL's Adam Lambert. Rodriguez will also be appearing in the upcoming Sex and the City movie sequel.
