NEWS: Noelle Beck; Prospect Park Lawsuit; 'EastEnders' Ratings Rise; Media Feuds; In Memoriam 2014

Daytime alums James Rebhorn, Victoria Mallory, Justin Gocke, Louan Gideon, Dane Witherspoon, Lee Chamberlin, Matthew Cowles and Charles Keating were among the soap actors that passed away this year.
Former 'As the World Turns' and 'Loving' actress Noelle Beck wants $17M for pad bought for $1.6M
Beck is asking $17 million for her six-bedroom Gramercy Park townhouse – a substantial jump from the $1.6 million she and her husband paid in 1997. The townhouse at 243 East 17th Street, between Second and Third avenues, features seven bathrooms, five fireplaces and cast-iron balconies.

This holiday season The Bold and the Beautiful got into “Spirit of Christmas” with a very special original song written by Casey Kaspryzk and Anthony Ferrari especially for the show's Christmas episode, which was taped at The Union Rescue Mission @URM on Los Angeles' Skid Row. Sung by actress Karla Mosley, "Spirit of Season" reminds us that no matter who we are, that the greatest gift is the one we give when we help one another.
Decoding the Latest Development in the Ever-Tedious PP vs. ABC Lawsuit
Prospect Park's Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan is "is unfounded, unreliable as its using the basis of the payment of the suit to pay their debts, relying on funds that currently are not tangible. Meaning funds that don’t actually exist and will only exist IF PPN wins their lawsuit. (This is kind of like saying; I will pay my bills once I win the lottery.)"
'EastEnders' brings in best rating since April with Christmas aftermath
EastEnders rose further in the ratings on Monday evening (December 29) and retained its lead over the other soaps, overnight figures show. 8.03 million (32.8%) tuned in at 8 p.m. on BBC One as Mick, Linda and the rest of the Carter family dealt with the aftermath of their dramatic Christmas. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 460k (2.8%) at 10.30 p.m.

Revisiting LOVING and Corinth on Thursday's GENERAL HOSPITAL
Former ABC Daytime soap opera LOVING is back! At least it was on Thursday's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL. Luke (Anthony Geary) and Holly (Emma) arrived at an abandoned mansion as they continued to track Jerry Jacks. It was soon revealed they were in a "small town in Pennsylvania" that had once been in the news because of "The LOVING Murders." It was the Alden mansion from LOVING!
