NIKITA Series Finale Sneak Peek

The fourth season of NIKITA continues on Friday, December 6th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW with "Set-Up."

Frustrated that MDK is still active, Nikita (Maggie Q) decides to end it her way. Leaving Michael (Shane West) and the team behind, Nikita takes Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) on the road to exact revenge. Nikita and Alex capture Jones (guest star David S. Lee) and force him to reveal the names of the rest of the members of MDK.

The fourth season of NIKITA continues on Friday, December 6th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW with "Set-Up."

Tensions continue to escalate between the United States and Pakistan after Amanda (Melinda Clarke) plants evidence that Pakistan hired Nikita (Maggie Q) to kill the President.

Ryan (Noah Bean) becomes suspicious of Birkhoff's (Aaron Stanford) increasingly odd behavior and tells Nikita and Michael (Shane West) that he thinks Amanda may have kidnapped Birkhoff and planted a double on the plane.

The fourth season of NIKITA continues on Friday, November 29th at 8:59 p.m. ET/PT (special time) on The CW with "Dead or Alive."

Nikita (Maggie Q) reunites with Michael (Shane West), Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) and Ryan (Noah Bean) aboard the team's aircraft command center. Michael refuses to discuss their relationship but tells Nikita she should stay with the group and let them help her clear her name.

Ryan realizes Amanda (Melinda Clarke) is making doubles of VIPs with The Shop's help. Nikita discovers that one of the doubles is the Director of the FBI (guest star Alex Carter), but doesn't know how to kill him without exposing herself.

The fourth season of NIKITA kicks off on Friday, November 22nd at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW with "Wanted."

Nikita (Maggie Q) is still on the run after she was framed for the assassination of the President of the United States. Dale, a reporter (guest star Todd Grinnell) from the news channel ENN, starts questioning what really happened that night. Nikita sees this as an opportunity to clear her name so she re-enters the country to talk to Dale but walks right into a trap set by Amanda (Melinda Clarke). The team is alerted and Michael (Shane West) sets out to find Nikita before Amanda does.

NIKITA Kicks Off Final Six Episodes On November 22

NIKITA will wrap up her mission with a final six-episode run beginning Friday, November 22, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, airing over six straight weeks.

Framed for assassinating the President at the end of last season, Nikita (Maggie Q) finds herself at the beginning of season four alone and on the run, hunted as the most wanted woman in the world. But when she follows up a lead that could clear her name, Nikita unexpectedly finds herself reunited with her old team. Forced to work together again, Nikita and her allies have to get past their emotional wounds in order to take down their nemesis, Amanda (Melinda Clarke). In the process, they discover that the plot to frame Nikita is actually part of a much larger conspiracy, one that could lead to global catastrophe.

NIKITA is from Sesfonstein Productions, Inc. and Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Craig Silverstein, David Levinson, McG, Peter Johnson, Danny Cannon and Carlos Coto.

A disturbing family secret causes the children’s grandmother, Olivia (Ellen Burstyn), to lock the children in the attic, where the oldest boy (Mason Dye) and girl (Kiernan Shipka) develop an inappropriate bond.

THE CARRIE DIARIES & NIKITA Renewed By The CW

The CW has renewed THE CARRIE DIARIES and NIKITA for next season, according to Variety.com.

Deadline.com added that CARRIE's pickup is "automatically a 13-episode order as it is a midseason show" while NIKITA will return for a six-episode cycle "that could be the final chapter."

The overnights are in for Friday, November 9. Below is a roundup of today's Nielsen ratings reports:

From ABC:
With its comedies (LAST MAN STANDING/MALIBU COUNTRY), SHARK TANK and 20/20, ABC won Friday in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd week in a row, leading by double-digit percentages over CBS (+13%), NBC (+33%) and Fox (+64%).

From TVBTN:
On the CW, NIKITA was even with last week's 0.3 adults 18-49 rating (890,000 total viewers).

The overnights are in for Friday, November 2. Below is a roundup of today's Nielsen ratings reports:

From ABC:
Building on its lead-in at 8:30 p.m. by over 1 million viewers and by 16% in young adults, the series debut of Reba McEntire's MALIBU COUNTRY soared to the top of its half-hour.

From TVBTN:
On NBC, the telethon Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, which was simulcast on numerous cable channels, earned a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating

CW Primetime Lineup Coming To Xfinity On Demand


Comcast and The CW Network announced today they have reached an agreement that brings The CW’s popular primetime lineup to Xfinity On Demand. Effective tomorrow, Oct. 25, customers can watch the four most-recent episodes from each CW series – including their favorite CW programs the day after they air on live TV – on Xfinity On Demand at no additional charge. This agreement marks the first time The CW has made its shows available on Video On Demand (VOD) by a multi-service operator (MSO).

DOWNTON ABBEY UK premiere share UP but total viewers slightly DOWN from last year
DOWNTON ABBEY increased its percentage of the viewing public in the season premiere last night, though fewer people tuned into program this year as a whole, figures show. The Edwardian drama pulled in 36% of viewers, up from 34.6% in 2011, meaning that it was the most popular show among those watching on Sunday night after X FACTOR.

CW Fall Premiere Dates Start In October

The CW Network will strategically roll-out its 2012-13 season this October with the premieres of three new series, returning favorites on new nights and one final season of Upper East Side drama.

Rachel Bilson returns to Bluebell, Alabama as Dr. Zoƫ Hart in the second season premiere of HART OF DIXIE on Tuesday, October 2 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET).

PREVIEW: NIKITA & SUPERNATURAL Season Finales On The CW, Friday, May 18

It's Nikita vs. Percy in the explosive season finale of NIKITA ("Homecoming") on Friday, May 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Nikita (Maggie Q) and Michael (Shane West) invade Division in an attempt to capture Percy (Xander Berkeley).

Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Sean (Dillon Casey) get caught in a deadly gunfire battle with the U.S. Marines and Ryan (Noah Bean) must convince the President of the United States not to destroy Division until he is sure Nikita and Michael are safely out of the building, but the President is eager to end Percy's reign.

The CW 2012-2013 Schedule

The CW announced its 2012-2013 schedule on Thursday and there are quite a few changes.

Soapy highlights:
* 90210 moves to Mondays followed by GOSSIP GIRL.

* HART OF DIXIE kicks off Tuesday nights.

* New series ARROW kicks off Wendesdays followed by SUPERNATURAL on a new night.

* The network is starting its season a bit later this year, in October, to shorten the season and play fewer reruns.

* Plans for a new digital studio called CWD, which will be an online source of game shows, comedies, animation and personality-driven shows, were announced on Thursday. One of its features will allow viewers to choose the outcome of a situation, choose-your-own adventure style. Viewers might decide whether a character kisses someone or storms out of the room, for example.

The CW is all-new on Friday, May 11 with episodes of the newly renewed NIKITA and SUPERNATURAL.

NIKITA kicks off the night at 8 p.m. ET with "Crossbow."

Percy (Xander Berkeley) calls the President the United States (guest star Cameron Daddo) and threatens to set off a nuclear explosion unless his demands are met.

CW Picks Up CARRIE DIARIES, ARROW, CULT, FIRST CUT, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Pilots; GOSSIP GIRL, HART OF DIXIE, NIKITA Renewed

The CW has picked up five pilots to series: CARRIE DIARIES, ARROW, CULT, FIRST CUT and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

The network's upfront presentation is on May 17 and its new president Mark Pedowitz is looking to broaden the CW's appeal.

The five new shows will join the 2012-13 schedule along the renewed scripted series NIKITA, 90210, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, GOSSIP GIRL, HART OF DIXIE and SUPERNATURAL. THE SECRET CIRCLE and RINGER were canceled.
