Past and present daytime soap opera stars are hitting primetime in the coming weeks. Check out some of their upcoming guest appearances below.

Ashley Jones (Parker, General Hospital) on NCIS, Tuesday, October 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
In "Fake It 'Til You Make It," after Reeves sees his friend get kidnapped, the NCIS team discovers the primary suspect disappeared two days ago with confidential military information. Also, an embarrassing photo from McGee’s teenage years becomes a popular meme. Jones plays Nancy Douglas.

Wolé Parks (ex-Dallas, As the World Turns) on SEAL Team, Wednesday, October 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
In "Collapse," Jason and the SEAL Team must protect the American Embassy in South Sudan when the ambassador refuses to evacuate as the country becomes increasingly unstable. Also, Clay and Stella take their relationship to the next level. Parks plays Stefan Bol.

'Days of our Lives' Star Charles Shaughnessy Visits 'NCIS' on December 13

Emmy winner and Indie Series Award nominee Charles Shaughnessy recently returned to daytime television on NBC soap opera Days of our Lives, reprising his popular role of Shane Donovan. On December 13, he heads to primetime with a guest appearance on CBS drama NCIS.

In the episode, “The Tie That Binds," after the NCIS team tracks evidence from the murder of a Navy captain to Ducky’s deceased mother, Ducky looks back and questions a pivotal life choice he made 37 years ago. Also, the team exchanges holiday gifts, and Gibbs spends Christmas dinner with Fornell.

Shaughnessy is playing with role of Balthazar Kilmeany. Former Harper's Island star Adam Campbell also appears, returning as Young Ducky.

NCIS airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Shaughnessy has never been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for his work on Days, but did win in 2002 as "Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program" for playing Dennis in Playhouse Disney's Stanley.

'General Hospital' Actress Hayley Erin to Guest Star in 'NCIS' on October 11

Hayley Erin
General Hospital actress Hayley Erin (Kiki Jerome) will guest star on the top-rated CBS drama, NCIS, on October 11.

In the episode, titled "Love Boat," after the body of a navy lieutenant is discovered aboard a destroyer during a tiger cruise, when civilian guests are allowed to spend the night on the ship, Gibbs, Quinn and Palmer travel out to sea to investigate. Also, McGee contemplates the perfect proposal for Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman).

Erin will play Kasey Powers.

'The Bold and the Beautiful' is World's Most-Watched Soap Opera For 9th Year in a Row

The Bold and the Beautiful wins its ninth consecutive Golden Nymph.
NCIS was presented with the International Television Audience Award for a drama TV series at the 54th Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Wednesday, honoring the show as the most-watched drama in the world. NCIS has a global audience of 57.6 million viewers.

The annual International Audience Award is presented jointly by the Monte-Carlo Television Festival and Eurodata TV Worldwide to reward programs who delivered the highest ratings worldwide in 2013 across five continents in three categories: drama TV series, comedy TV series and telenovelas/soap operas. Modern Family was named the top comedy, while The Bold and the Beautiful won its ninth consecutive Golden Nymph for telenovelas/soap operas.

NEWS: Katie Couric May Move From ABC to Yahoo; Alicia Minshew Shooting 'The Funeral Guest'

Less than three years after joining ABC in a lucrative and wide-ranging deal that included a daytime talk show and a role at ABC News, Katie Couric is set to exit her role as ABC News special correspondent early as she nears a deal for an interview show on Yahoo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Couric's daytime talk show is in its second and almost certainly final season on ABC. She will complete the season and sources at Disney-ABC insist that a decision about the future of KATIE will not be made until sometime in December after executives get a look at the November sweeps ratings.

USA's COMPLICATIONS adds Jessica Szohr and Beth Riesgraf to its cast
The GOSSIP GIRL and LEVERAGE alums will join GREY'S ANATOMY's Lauren Stamile on the medical drama starring Jason O'Mara.

Alicia Minshew lands role in romantic comedy, The Funeral Guest
Minshew (ex-Kendall, ALL MY CHILDREN) is hard at work in Lansing, MI filming the upcoming movie, a romantic comedy that follows Emily (Julianna Robinson), a socially isolated woman, who spends her time attending stranger's funerals. Minshew plays Robin, a recently divorced lawyer who fights to win back her ex before Emily takes his heart.

Google's Greatest Doodle Yet: an Epic 8-bit DOCTOR WHO Game
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Timelord, this epic multi-level Doodle has been in the works for four months. At the Googleplex in Mountain View, it became known as the "Whodle." The company says it's the largest interactive Doodle yet created. It's an 8-bit platform game in which you play the Doctor through all his 11 incarnations.

NCIS Heads for Guinness World Records with Japan Marathon
How much do the Japanese love to watch the adventures of Team Gibbs? The Fox Japan channel is about to find out with its plan for a 10-day marathon of 234 episodes of “NCIS.”

The stunt should qualify the show for a slot in the Guinness World Records book as the longest uninterrupted transmission of a TV series, according to CBS. The marathon of segs from the show’s first 10 seasons will lead into the launch of the show’s current 11th season on Fox Japan in February.

The marathon is set to begin at 11 p.m. local time on Dec. 29 and conclude at 5 p.m. on Jan. 8.

Emily Wickersham Joins the NCIS Team as New Series Regular

Emily Wickersham joins the team on NCIS as a series regular beginning Tuesday, Nov. 19. She plays NSA Analyst Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop, a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism who specializes in international threat assessment and global preparation.

"Emily Wickersham's Ellie Bishop is proving to perfectly compliment the NCIS team," said Executive Producer Gary Glasberg. "Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Great things are planned for Bishop and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her on board."

DONNA BELL'S: Our Favorite Bake Shop Has a Hollywood Secret!

We Love Soaps recently caught up with actor, musician and activist Pauley Perrette at Donna Bell's Bake Shop, our vendor of choice for office coffee and treats.

In town for the CBS upfronts, the NCIS star stopped into Donna Bell's to check on her "baby."  Pauley opened the Theater District favorite in April 2011 with her friends Darren Greenblatt and Matthew Sandusky, using recipe's passed along from her mother: southern belle, Donna Bell.

We were only looking for our regular afternoon pick-me-up: an apple turnover, a mixed berry scone, a large coffee and a medium fresh-squeezed OJ. But we ran into Abby Sciuto! Soon, Pauley was sharing her passion for delicious southern treats.

The premiere episode of "GCB" clued viewers in that Blake is gay and Sunday night's episode revealed Blake's wife, Cricket (Miriam Shor), signed on to the marriage with the understanding that he'd be having sex with men on the side. The couple even share opposite sides of an extra-wide bed.

Kristin Chenoweth Defends GCB from Newt Gingrich Attacks: ‘Don’t Talk About My Show!’
Chenoweth was shocked by Gingrich’s comments, considering the actress is a Christian herself. “I was like, 'No, Newt, don’t talk about my show!'” Chenoweth told Broadway.com. “I would never do anything that would make fun of my own religion! I don’t think [GCB] does that.”
