GENERAL HOSPITAL stars Finola Hughes and Jason Thompson started as contestants on Monday’s episode of WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE and continued as holdover contestants on Tuesday’s show (4/2). They kicked off Tuesday’s show by looking at their $100,000 question with an accumulated Millionaire Bank of $67,600 and two lifelines left (“Jump The Question” and “Ask The Audience”).

On Tuesday’s show, Finola and Jason used their “Jump The Question” lifeline on their $100,000 question – and their final lifeline, “Ask The Audience,” on their $250,000 question.

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE with host Meredith Vieira helped to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of ABC’s hit drama GENERAL HOSPITAL by featuring Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) and Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake) as contestants on today’s episode of the game show!

GH fan favorite Ian Buchanan (Duke Lavery) made a surprise appearance on Monday’s episode of MILLIONAIRE!  He sat in the studio audience alongside GH head writer Ron Carlivati, and helped to cheer on Finola and Jason.

Finola and Jason correctly answered questions 1-10 on Monday’s show and will continue as holdover contestants on Tuesday (4/2).  They will start Tuesday’s show by looking at their $100,000 question with an accumulated Millionaire Bank of $67,600 and two lifelines left (“Jump The Question” and “Ask The Audience”).

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE with host Meredith Vieira will help to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABC's hit drama GENERAL HOSPITAL, featuring Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) and Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake) as contestants on Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2. The MILLIONAIRE episodes will coincide with GENERAL HOSPITAL's 50th anniversary on April 1.

Hughes and Thompson brought the drama of Port Charles to the set of MILLIONAIRE and filmed a soap-inspired scene with Vieira. The scene will be broadcast in its entirety on Monday, April 1 on WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE. On Thursday's GENERAL HOSPITAL, Felix (Marc Anthony Samuel) and Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) headed to New York City to meet with Lucy Coe of CoeCoe Cosmetics to enlist her help with bringing back the Nurse's Ball. WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE host Meredith Vieira will drop by GENERAL HOSPITAL on December 14. She first appeared on the soap back in 2003 as Bree Flanders, owner of an upscale call-girl business. But things have changed a great deal since then. Vieira previewed her apperance for TV Guide Magazine.

Vieira: Lynn Herring returns to the show as Lucy Coe [also Friday] and it turns out Bree is her senior vp of marketing at CoeCoe Cosmetics. Sabrina and Felix are desperately trying to get a meeting with Lucy but first they have to go through me. [Laughs] But, really, not much has changed for Bree. Prostitution. Makeup. Hey, it's all sales.
