Melissa Ordway Returning to 'The Young and the Restless' After Maternity Leave

The Young and the Restless actress Melissa Ordway has been on maternity leave since giving birth to daughter Sophie on December 9. She's heading back to Y&R next week to start filming again as Abby.

"Exciting stuff, guys," she shared in an Instagram story. "Next week I am officially off maternity leave so I will be back filming next week."

Ordway, who was leaving the set after a meeting, added, "I’m super-excited. It was so good to see everyone…. Abby is baaack!"

There's no indication at this point that Daniel Hall might also be returning as Scott Grainger. Scott left Genoa City last month.

'The Young and the Restless' Star Melissa Ordway Pregnant with Second Child

Actress Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby Newman on CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, is pregnant with her and husband Justin Gaston‘s second child, her rep confirms to People.

“Justin and I are thrilled about the arrival of Baby Gaston number two,” Ordway revealed to the magazine. “Our daughter Olivia is the joy and light of our lives and we cannot wait to see her become a big sister.”

Ordway is due in January.

"We feel so blessed!" she told People.

"Genoa City Live!," a series of once-in-a-lifetime, live fan events dedicated to CBS daytime drama, The Young and the Restless, has kicked off on the east coast. On February 20 at The Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, New Jersey, Y&R stars Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman), Christian Jules LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman Rayburn), Sean Carrigan (Stitch Rayburn) and Robert Adamson (Noah Newman) met with fans, answered questions, told behind-the-scenes stories and entertained the packed audience. Genoa City Live! Adds Baltimore, Washington D.C. to 2016 Schedule

Genoa City Live!, the interactive fan tribute events featuring stars from The Young and the Restless, has added two dates to the 2016 tour schedule: January 30 at Baltimore's Lyric Opera House and January 31 at Washington D.C.'s Lisner Auditorium.

Genoa City Live! is a series of once-in-a-lifetime, live fan events dedicated to CBS-TV's long running daytime drama, The Young and the Restless. Fans will get up close and personal with their favorite stars in this wildly entertaining event that features audience interaction, lively question and answers, behind the scene stories and secrets, trivia and photos. Two hundred pre-registered fans will get the chance to have the actors sign autograph and take photos. The event takes a highly emotional walk down memory lane as fans relive moments of their favorite daytime soap opera with their favorite actors from the past 42 years.

Fans in Baltimore can see Genoa City Live on Saturday, January 30 at Lyric Opera House. The performance is at 7:30pm. Tickets are $48.50, $65, $77.50, $88.50, $98.50 and $128.50 (all prices include the $3.50 facility fee) and are available at the Lyric Box Office, Ticketmaster outlets,  and charge by phone at 410.547.SEAT.

Genoa City Live! Announces 'The Young and the Restless' Events in New Jersey and New York

Details were announced today for Genoa City Live!, a series of once-in-a-lifetime, live fan events dedicated to CBS daytime drama, The Young and the Restless. Fans will get up close and personal with their favorite stars in this wildly entertaining event that features audience interaction, lively question and answers, behind the scene stories and secrets, trivia and photos. 200 pre-registered fans will get the chance to have the actors sign autograph and take photos. The event takes a highly emotional walk down memory lane as fans relive moments of their favorite daytime soap opera with their favorite actors from the past 42 years. Tickets for these exclusive fan events go on sale December 11.

Fans in Montclair, NJ can see Genoa City Live on Saturday, January 23rd at The Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ. Performance begins at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m. Tickets are $149.50, $124.50, $99.50 $75, $69.50, $49.50 and $20 (for the back row) and are available online at Ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Wellmont Box Office.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT has announced its lineup of celebrity guest models for December. Daytime's #1-rated series and the longest-running game show in television history will continue to welcome television personalities and CBS Daytime stars as celebrity guest models throughout the season, weekdays (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT November Guest Model Lineup Includes Joshua Morrow, Melissa Ordway, Lawrence Saint-Victor, Hunter King, Karla Mosley & Daniel Goddard

THE PRICE IS RIGHT has announced its lineup of celebrity guest models for November. Daytime's #1-rated series and the longest-running game show in television history will continue to welcome television personalities and CBS Daytime stars as celebrity guest models throughout the season, weekdays (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Guest models for the month, which will feature a Veterans Day Special and Dream Car Week, include THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS cast members Melissa Ordway, Joshua Morrow, Hunter King and Daniel Goddard; THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL cast members Lawrence Saint-Victor and Karla Mosley; and “VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live” host Carrie Keagan.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT October Celebrity Guest Models Include Y&R's Melissa Ordway and B&B's Karla Mosley

THE PRICE IS RIGHT, daytime’s #1-rated series and the longest-running game show in television history, will welcome a variety of television personalities and CBS Daytime stars to strut their stuff as celebrity guest models throughout the new season, that kicks off Monday, Sept. 23 (11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT) on CBS. Below is the schedule of guest models for October. Later this season, THE PRICE IS RIGHT will welcome Kevin Frazier (OMG! INSIDER), Joshua Morrow (THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS), Nancy O’Dell (ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT) and Aisha Tyler (THE TALK) among others.

Melissa Ordway Joins THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Melissa Ordway has joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as the new Abby Newman, replacing Emme (Marcy) Rylan, according to Daytime Confidential. She debuts April 22.

Ordway starred in Nick at Nite's HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS as Chloe Carter. She becomes the third actor from the show to join daytime's top-rated soap after Jill Farren Phelps and Josh Griffith moved from HH to Y&R.

Ordway's other credits include the Universal Pictures film Ted, directed by Seth MacFarlane and starring Mark Wahlberg. She will also be seen in Odd Thomas opposite Willem Dafoe and Anton Yelchin and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone opposite Jim Carrey and Olivia Wilde.

Ordway’s previous film credits include A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, In Time, The Last Song, 17 Again, Elektra Luxx, Callers, Miss March andKnuckle Draggers.   On television, Ordway has been seen on CSI: NY, MELROSE PLACE, COLD CASE, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, ENTOURAGE and PRIVILEGED.
