Irish actress Maureen Toal has died at age 82.Best known for her role as Teasey McDaid in RTÉ's long-running soap GLENROE, Toal also had a long and distinguished theater career dating back to first joining the Abbey Theatre in 1946.
Toal, who was born in 1930 and was from Fairview in North Dublin, received an honorary doctorate from University College Dublin in 2010.
She died peacefully in her home in Sandycove August 24.
