CORONATION STREET won eight prizes at the British Soap Awards on Sunday night. The ITV show's awards included best soap, best storyline for Kirsty's abuse of Tyrone Dobbs and best actor for Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone.HOLLYOAKS won five awards, including best actress for Claire Cooper, who plays Jacqui McQueen.
