WATCH: THURSTON Season 2 Finale; Walt Willey Debuts

Indie Soap Award-winning Western web series THURSTON aired its second season finale this week.

In "Bonds of Fate," Maggie (Catherine Frels) gives birth then makes a confession, Agnes Snead (Colleen Zenk) oversees a wedding, and Edmund Snead (Walt Willey) hits the rails.

WATCH: "Light in Darkness" on THURSTON

Season 2 of Indie Soap Award-winning Western web series THURSTON continues this week with a brand new episode.

In "Light in Darkness," Rosie (Susannah Wells), Jo (Lisa Nanni-Messegee) and Owen (Garrett Brennan) share a moment of peace; help comes for Maggie (Catherine Frels); and Agnes (Colleen Zenk), Harlan (Evan Casey) and Amon (Felipe Cabezas) arrive in Thurston.

WATCH: THURSTON Returns! Plus, New Cast Additions For The Rest of Season 2

Indie Soap Award-winning web series THURSTON returned on Tuesday with a new episode to kick off the second half of Season 2. THURSTON is a Western drama about the residents of a remote mining town and their struggle for survival in the 1880s Kansas Ozarks.

In "What's Done Is Done," Maggie (Catherine Frels) goes into labor and gets help from an unexpected source. Meanwhile, the Sneads depart for Thurston but not before Mama Agnes (AS THE WORLD TURNS star Colleen Zenk) has to set one of her sons straight.

We Love Soaps recently reported that longtime ALL MY CHILDREN actor Walt Willey will be playing Edmund Snead, father of the outlaw Snead boys and husband to Agnes, this fall.

THURSTON creator Kathryn O’Sullivan gave us the scoop on some other new characters coming up in Season 2.

THURSTON EXCLUSIVE: Walt Willey Joins The Cast

Stage and screen actor Walt Willey has joined the cast of Indie Soap Award-winning web series THURSTON.

The longtime ALL MY CHILDREN fan favorite will play Edmund Snead, father of the outlaw Snead boys and husband to Colleen Zenk's "madam" character, Agnes. Willey has already shot several scenes as Edmund.

"Walt has been a wonderful addition to the THURSTON family," notes creator and writer Kathryn O'Sullivan.

"Audiences are going to enjoy watching him play a charming rogue and even reveal where some of his sons' personality traits originate."

Recently, Willey has been touring the country in his one man show, "Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok." He's also been shooting the upcoming series TAINTED DREAMS.

4th Annual Indie Soap Awards: Jillian Clare, Miriam Pultro, Sam Martin Top Anne Sayre's Best Dressed List

For the 4th Annual Indie Soap Awards (ISA4), We Love Soaps once again turned to our guest fashion editor: New York City's gorgeous and fabulous Anne Sayre. Anne starred, for several years, as the lovable Mitzi Matters on AS THE WORLD TURNS. She began her soap career with roles on ALL MY CHILDREN and ANOTHER WORLD, has appeared in a number of sketches on LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN and has guest starred on series like NEW YORK UNDERCOVER. And, she's no stranger to the Indie Soap Awards: in 2010, she received a nomination for her comedic performance on GOTHAM.

THURSTON Season 2 Trailer: Colleen Zenk's Agnes Snead Is 'Seriously Displeased'


Season 2 of indie soap THURSTON is coming in 2013 but you can watch the trailer now, featuring new cast member Colleen Zenk. The three-time Emmy nominee from AS THE WORLD TURNS will be playing Agnes, the mother of the infamous Snead boys who made their debut in the final three episodes of THURSTON's first season.
