Miriam Pultro Guest Stars in a Hilarious Episode of '#kateconwayisajerk'

Kate receives unwelcome news via welovesoaps.net in the latest episode
of #kateconwayisajerk.

Kate Conway is one of the most nominated actors in Indie Series Awards history for her work in the online drama Out With Dad, winning twice as best actress in a drama. She also has terrific comedy chops, which she shows off in her new web series, #kateconwayisajerk. In the show's brand new episode, Kate, who is playing an obnoxious version of herself, runs into Miriam Pultro, the Mythos star that bested her at the 4th Annual ISAs, and who just happens to be visiting Toronto.

Miriam doesn't even remember Kate, and Kate can't believe it. So when Miriam asks for directions, Kate sends her in the wrong direction to a bad part of town. Things don't go as planned, though, when Miriam ends up becoming an international hero.

Next Round of Presenters Revealed for the 5th Annual Indie Series Awards

We Love Soaps and the Indie Series Network are excited to reveal the next round of presenters for the 5th Annual Indie Series Awards, which celebrate the best in independently produced, scripted entertainment created for the Web. Stars from Television, Film, Broadway and the Internet are coming together to celebrate the very best of the World Wide Web.

The Indie Series Awards, hosted by Carolyn Hennesy, will take place on April 2, 2014 at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.

Previously announced presenters include Charlene Tilton, Christine Lakin, Colleen Zenk, Sebastian La Cause, Eric Martsolf, Kyle Lowder, Jillian Clare, Rachael Hip-Flores, Van Hansis and Walt Willey.

The next 10 presenters are listed below:

Anthony Anderson
Anderson is the most-nominated individual in ISA history, with 16 total nominations for his work as a producer, writer and actor on Anacostia, and including a nomination for his guest appearance in Pretty. He won in 2010 (Best Ensemble), 2011 (Lead Actor) and 2012 (Best Writing - Drama). Anderson is currently finishing production on his new reality series, City Boyz.

Brad Bell
Bell won in 2013 in the Best Lead Actor - Comedy and Best Writing categories for his work on Husbands, and is up for those awards again this year. He is also executive producer of Husbands, which received six nominations this year including Best Web Series - Comedy. Bell has received nine total nominations in the past three years.

Darin Brooks
Brooks is nominated for his work in Bloomers. He is currently starring as "Wyatt Fuller" in CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful. He received two Daytime Emmy nominations for his work on Days of our Lives, winning in 2009. Brooks starred for three seasons as "Alex Morgan" in the TBS sitcom Blue Mountain State. His other credits include Super Fun Night, Castle, CSI: Miami and the hit teen drama Miss Behave.

The 2013 ISAs winner for Best Drama, OUT WITH DAD, returned this month with six new episodes to kick off Season 3. The latest is a musical episode, totally unexpected and incredibly fun. Who knew Caitlynne Medrek had such a fabulous voice? Watch the episode below:

OUT WITH DAD Is Back With New Beginnings For Rose & Nathan

Kate Conway and Caitlynne Medrek star in OUT WITH DAD.

This year's Best Drama winner at the 4th Annual ISAs, OUT WITH DAD, is back with its Season 3 premiere episode ("Starting Out"). Rose (Kate Conway) and Nathan (Jonathan Robbins) are finished moving into a new place, and Rose receives a meaningful new present from dad. Later, Claire (Caitlynne Medrek) invites her to dinner. Now she just has to figure out one thing: Is this a date?

WATCH: OUT WITH DAD Season 3 Trailer

In February, OUT WITH DAD was named Best Drama Series at the 4th Annual Indie Soap Awards (The ISAs). Creator and showrunner Jason Leaver hilariously stated in his acceptance speech, "I love making Out with Dad." Those of us in the audience laughed, but in thinking about it more, it's obvious just how true of a statement that was. When a writer and producer loves what they are doing, and are passionate about their work, it shows on screen. Perhaps this is one of the reasons We Love Soaps loves OUT WITH DAD. As much as Leaver enjoys making it, we love watching it just as much. And now the highly anticipated 22-episode third season is hopefully not too far away. The trailer was released this week along with the following Season 3 description:

Life is getting more complicated as school starts again for Rose and the rest of the gang. She and her father experience new highs and lows in their lives. How 'out' is Rose prepared to be? Is Nathan ready to tell Rose about his relationship with Angela? Can Vanessa be who her parents want her to be? What does the future hold for Claire and Rose? Ready yourself for new twists and turns in OUT WITH DAD, the continuing story of a teenage girl, struggling her way out of the closet with her supportive father by her side.
