NEWS: Prospect Park, Anthony Geary, Josh Duhamel, Cindy Crawford, Nicholas Rodriguez

Prospect Park blames ABC lawsuit for its Chapter 7 bid
Production company Prospect Park Networks LLC has asked to convert its bankruptcy to Chapter 7 because it couldn't pay Jones Day's fees in a breach of contract suit against The Walt Disney Co.'s ABC network over the soap opera One Life to Live. PPN, which tried to revive OLTL and All My Children online, said in a Delaware bankruptcy court filing that it had hoped selling its Connecticut tax credits to Apple Inc. would pay for Jones Day to represent it in its $95 million lawsuit against ABC, but the proceeds weren't enough to keep the firm on board or to find a suitable replacement.

"The best hope for a meaningful recovery to creditors is successful prosecution or settlement of the ABC litigation," the motion said. "The debtor and the debtor's counsel have done everything to keep the ABC litigation alive for the benefits of creditors."

Anthony Geary open to a General Hospital return
“If the story is interesting to me and it works out, I may come back to the show for six weeks or so,” Geary told EW.

Cindy Crawford developing NBC drama about 1980s modeling wars
The series, tentatively titled Icon, marks Crawford’s television producing debut. Anne Heche (Another World) and James Tupper will also serve as exec producers with Crawford and Robin Bissell, who will pen the project, hailing from Universal TV.

Icon, in very early development, revolves around the modeling wars in the ’80s that occurred between Ford Modeling Agency and Elite Model Management. The show is completely fictionalized, rather than a re-telling of Crawford’s own experiences. No actual names of models or figures from the time will be used.

One Life to Live alum Nicholas Rodriguez to lead all-Latino cast of Karen Zacarias' "Destiny of Desire" at Arena Stage
Rodriguez returns as part of an all-Latino ensemble playing Sebastian Jose Castillo, in a cast that includes Valenzuela's daughter and son, Esperanza America and Fidel Gomez, as Pilar Castillo and Dr. Diego Mendoza.

Former All My Children star Josh Duhamel joins Hulu's 11/22/63
Based on King's best-seller, 11/22/63 is described as a thriller in which high school English teacher Jake Epping (James Franco) travels back in time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. But his mission is threatened by Lee Harvey Oswald (played by Daniel Webber), falling in love and the past itself … which doesn’t want to be changed.

Duhamel will play Frank Dunning, the father of Jake's student Harry Dunning (played by youngster Jack Fulton and Leon Rippy), in 1960s Kentucky. Frank is the rakish town butcher, a ladies' man with an effortless smile that everyone welcomes — except Jake, the only man who knows the full violence of which Frank is capable.

'Battle Creek' Premieres March 1, Stars Josh Duhamel & Dean Winters

The cast of Battle Creek. Photo Credit: CBS
Jaded Det. Russ Agnew reluctantly partners with charming FBI Agent Milt Chamberlain to solve a drug-related double homicide, but while Milt investigates with the high-tech resources of the FBI, Russ prefers old-school police work and instinct, on the series premiere of Battle Creek, Sunday, March 1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Battle Creek stars Josh Duhamel (All My Children) and Dean Winters in a drama about two mismatched law enforcement officers whose polar opposite views of the world and crime-solving breed frustration, disdain, humor and possibly a grudging respect as they clean up the hardscrabble streets of Battle Creek, Mich. Det. Russ Agnew, a good but gruff, hard-boiled detective, has his world upended when strikingly handsome, charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain opens an FBI field office at the police station and chooses Russ to be his partner. Milt's polished sophistication and access to unlimited state-of-the-art equipment is impressive to his new co-workers in the absurdly underfunded department. As Russ and Milt work long hours together in the economically distressed city of Battle Creek, the question is: will it be Milt's charm and endless supply of high-end resources or Russ's old-fashioned cynicism, guile and deception that prove to be the keys to catching the bad guys in his beloved hometown? Janet McTeer, Kal Penn, Edward Fordham, Jr. and Aubrey Dollar (Guiding Light) also star.

Watch a sneak peek of the premiere ("The Battle Creek Way") below:

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Katherine Bailess On Acting, Singing, Dancing & Playing Kyle Hart In HIT THE FLOOR

Katherine Bailess stars as Kyle Hart in HIT THE FLOOR
Katherine Bailess is an actress, singer and dancer from Vicksburg, Mississippi, a true southern belle. She recently wrapped filming the new VH1 series HIT THE FLOOR, where she stars as Kyle Hart, one of the elite Los Angeles 'Devil Girl' Professional Basketball Dancers. The show, created by James LaRosa and also starring Charlotte Ross and Dean Cain, premiered in May. The season finale airs on Monday, July 29th.

Bailess is no stranger to television or film as she has recurred on a number of TV shows including GILMORE GIRLS, ONE TREE HILL, THE LOOP and SORDID LIVES. She has also appeared on shows like NCIS and on the big screen as a lead opposite Kelly Clarkson in From Justin to Kelly and Bring It On Again. She also has been in numerous independent films including Below the Beltway, Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale, Stone Markers and 2 Dead 2 Kill. On occasion, she is also known to step in as a co-host for AFTERBUZZ TV alongside Maria Menounos.

Never one to neglect her southern roots, Bailess still makes time so she can continue to work on her country music, as both a singer and songwriter.

She lives in Los Angeles and, when not working, keeps busy with Pilates, playing the guitar, dancing, reading, hiking and giving back to the community.

In this exclusive new interview with We Love Soaps, Bailess talks about her journey to Hollywood, her love of music and what it's like playing a 'Devil Girl' in HIT THE FLOOR.

WE LOVE SOAPS: I'm loving HIT THE FLOOR, but before we get to that, let's talk about your journey from Vicksburg to Los Angeles?
KATHERINE BAILESS: I grew up as a dancer, and that's how I made it to New York City and got into acting. My very first job was in a soap, ONE LIFE TO LIVE. I started off as an under-five and became recurring. If you appear more than six times on a soap, the AFTRA rep comes and says, "You have to join or you can't get back on set." I was like, "Heck yeah!" That was my first acting gig so it was really cool. Then I tested for two soaps in New York, GUIDING LIGHT and ALL MY CHILDREN. I was up for Kendall in ALL MY CHILDREN, playing Susan Lucci's daughter.

NEWS: Melody Thomas Scott: ''I know how to handle him''; Gloria Loring on her relationships with Don Diamont & Deidre Hall; Josh Duhamel Raves About Jill Larson

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS star Melody Thomas Scott on working with Eric Braeden: 'I know how to handle him'
"I'm not going to lie and say that being his costar is easy, because it ain't. But it's so worth it. And, hey, I can be pretty ornery, too. After working with the guy for 34 years, I know how to handle him. [Laughs] And, the best part is, he doesn't even know he's being handled!"

DAYS OF OUR LIVES alum Gloria Loring on her relationships with Don Diamont & Deidre Hall
On Don Diamont (ex-Carlos, DAYS; now Bill, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: "He was so special because he came into my life at a point where I was feeling quite emotionally fragile even though I was supposedly a star on television. Donald was in my life for 3 ½ years. That time was really precious to me because the biggest thing he did for me, in addition to treating me with such respect, was that he listened to me. I was so used to not being heard in my marriage … my feelings, my everything. All I had to do was actually have an intake of breath, and Donald would ask, 'What do you need?'"

On Deidre Hall (Marlena, DAYS): "There are some funny Deidre stories, but I can’t tell them here. I never saw her temper. She can be very abrupt or let’s just say forthcoming (laughs). Deidre has no filter on what comes out of her mouth (laughs). Think of THE GOLDEN GIRLS and Estelle, the mother, who had no filter on what she said. That’s Deidre! And she’s very funny. It’s hysterical. It’s a little surprising at times, but she’s very funny. But you always know what’s going on with Deidre. You’ve got to give her credit for that. She’s amazing, the career she has built for herself."
