Actor Josh Charles to Discuss Sunday's Shocking Episode of THE GOOD WIFE on CBS' LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN

Actor Josh Charles, star of the critically acclaimed CBS drama series THE GOOD WIFE, discusses the unexpected and shocking death of his character, Will Gardner, when he visits the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, March 24 (11:35 p.m.-12:37 a.m. ET/PT) on CBS. This will be Charles’ first television interview following his character’s surprising exit on last night's episode of the series.

Also visiting the Late Show tonight is President Jimmy Carter, who is promoting his new book, "A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power," which will be released tomorrow.

Alicia enlists Cary as her lawyer when Nelson Dubeck approaches her to participate in a deposition regarding his investigation into election rigging. Meanwhile, Will continues the difficult defense of Jeffrey Grant as he faces off against a new prosecutor who proves to be a formidable adversary.

When Alicia is asked to be the keynote speaker at the American Bar Association conference in New York City, she looks to her past for inspiration. The fifth season of THE GOOD WIFE continues on Sunday, January 12th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Victor Garber guest stars as Judge Spencer and Tom Skerritt guest stars as James Paisley, a Lockhart/Gardner client. Featuring the songs "High Hopes," "Hunter of Invisible Game" and "The Ghost of Tom Joad" from Bruce Springsteen's new album "High Hopes."

In "We, The Juries," Alicia and Will each represent one-half of a couple accused of smuggling drugs, but the courtroom becomes mired in confusion and legal technicalities when they insist on separate jury pools. Meanwhile, Cary attempts to woo a Lockhart/Gardner client, Kalinda tries to repair a damaged relationship and Marilyn begins her investigation into possible voter fraud during the gubernatorial election.

In "Whack-a-Mole," Alicia tries to hold a website accountable when its users accuse her client, a college professor, of being linked to domestic terrorism. Meanwhile, Will goes against Diane’s wishes when he hires Damian Boyle, an unpredictable attorney with ties to organized crime, who immediately interjects himself into Alicia’s website case. Also, Eli and Jackie clash over a Florrick family secret.

PREVIEW: THE GOOD WIFE ("Here Comes the Judge")

THE GOOD WIFE continues its fourth season on Sunday, November 18 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The show is scheduled for 30 minutes later than usual due to it being a CBS double-head day of NFL football.

In "“Here Comes the Judge," when Will is convinced that a judge is biased against his client, he and Alicia risk the judge’s wrath by demanding a hearing to determine if another judge should take over the case. Meanwhile, Grace is affected by the death of a classmate and starts falling for a “bad boy,” Zach looks for a way to help Peter’s campaign, and Kalinda becomes suspicious of Nick.

In "The Art of War," when a female military officer accuses a civilian contractor of attempting to rape her in Afghanistan, Alicia tries to prove that he is not protected by a law prohibiting servicemen from suing the military. Meanwhile, a surprising new obstacle appears in Peter’s quest for the governorship.

Amanda Peet guest stars as Alicia’s client, Brian Dennehy guest stars as opposing counsel Bucky Stabler, Maura Tierney returns as Maddie Hayward and Denis O’Hare returns as Judge Abernathy. Series star Josh Charles makes his directorial debut.
