'Twin Peaks' Will Return With 18 Episodes, Angelo Badalamenti Composing All New Music
During the
Twin Peaks panel at Crypticon in Seattle, Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee revealed two big pieces of news: there will be eighteen new episodes of
Twin Peaks, all directed by David Lynch, and his longtime collaborator Angelo Badalamenti would be composing all new music. Yep, we'll take a slice of cherry pie to go with that. This effectively doubles the nine episodes that were announced when the Showtime deal was first revealed, and suggests this will be more than just your standard waltz through the past.
