Zeman, Crystal Hunt, Stephanie Gatschet and Ivet Corvea.
On January 25, 1937, Irna Phillips' iconic radio soap opera The Guiding Light premiered on NBC radio.

She had absolutely no idea the impact her serial drama would have on a closeted adolescent named Paul Gosselin, living in small town Vermont, many years later. All Paul wanted in life was to be a part of Guiding Light and so he did everything he could possibly do to achieve his dream. He wrote fan fiction online hoping his stories would find their way on his favorite soap opera. He joined the Official Guiding Light Fan Club to meet other equally obsessed Guiding Light fans. Then after high school, he moved to New York City to pursue what he believed to be his life’s purpose, become a star on Guiding Light. In 2009, Guiding Light was canceled and with two unsuccessful auditions to be on the show, Paul’s mission in life came to a dead end. At a crossroads, Paul left New York City and moved to Los Angeles. Misguided, the online comedy web series, follows Paul’s journey upon arriving in Los Angeles.

Part II of Misguided begins on February 22, 2017 and a new episodes will be released every Wednesday for five weeks on YouTube. The cast for Part II of the online comedy features Emmy nominated actresses: Jean Carol, Stephanie Gatschet, Crystal Hunt and Jacklyn Zeman.

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Jackie Zeman savors memories of growing up in Bergen County, New Jersey
Zeman, who is best-known to soap opera fans as Bobbie Spencer on GH, grew up in Bergenfield. It was there that she and her two younger sisters, Lauren and Carol, developed their interests and lasting friendships. It was there that Zeman first felt inspired to follow the adventurous spirit she inherited from her father.

"I remember growing up and looking at my mom and my dad — my mom was the one who watched us while he went to work every day, but I remember thinking, 'He's having all the fun,' " said Zeman, 60.

Parker Posey On Grace of Monaco and Her AS THE WORLD TURNS Days
"I saw Colleen Zink, who played my aunt a few years ago -- I hadn't seen her for 15 years -- and she still looked the same. The actors on that show were fab. I wish I could go back and do more -- that would be a hoot."

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Brad Maule Revisits His GENERAL HOSPITAL Past (Part 1 of 3)

With GENERAL HOSPITAL celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, We Love Soaps has been catching up with some of our favorite actors from over the years including Kin Shriner, Lynn Herring and Robin Mattson. Up next is actor and singer Brad Maule, who played Dr. Tony Jones on the show from 1984 to 2006. In Part 1 of our exclusive interview, the Texas native talks about some of his early acting experiences and landing his fan favorite role on GH. Check it out below.

WE LOVE SOAPS: You grew up in Texas and were a theater major in college at Stephen F. Austin. How early on in life did you know you wanted to be an actor?
Brad Maule: I didn't know exactly what I was going to do but I knew from the time I was two years old. When I plowed my parents never worried about me because they could hear me singing in the field. I was always a show business kind of person; I just didn't know how to manifest that.  I always felt different. I wanted to wear slacks when everyone else worse jeans. I wanted to live in a brick house and not a farm house. Just weird stuff. [Laughs]

Jacklyn Zeman Returning To GENERAL HOSPITAL

Jackie Zeman with her GH daughter, Laura Wright.
Jacklyn Zeman is returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Bobbie Spencer, according to Soap Opera Digest.

"I am so pleased," Zeman told the magazine. "Literally, every day I am getting stopped on the street: 'Are you coming back?' It's a complicated question to answer because I always want to be positive and support the show, but at the same time, you don't want to lead people [on]. So I would say, 'Well, I haven't been invited yet.' Now, I'm so happy that when people ask me, I can say, 'I got invited back!'"

Zeman, who originated the role of Bobbie in 1977 and was last seen in Port Charles in 2010, returns on March 21.
