Friends and colleagues are mourning the untimely death of a 41-year-old man gunned down two blocks from his home in Brooklyn. Ivan Giovanettina, a prop supervisor on the daytime talk show THE CHEW, was found with a bullet wound to the torso at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Macon Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said. He previously worked on SOAP TALK.Giovanettina was the victim of a street robbery, police said. Witnesses saw two men fleeing the scene, 1010 WINS’ Al Jones reported. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
