'The Bold and the Beautiful' is World's Most-Watched Soap Opera For 9th Year in a Row

The Bold and the Beautiful wins its ninth consecutive Golden Nymph.
NCIS was presented with the International Television Audience Award for a drama TV series at the 54th Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Wednesday, honoring the show as the most-watched drama in the world. NCIS has a global audience of 57.6 million viewers.

The annual International Audience Award is presented jointly by the Monte-Carlo Television Festival and Eurodata TV Worldwide to reward programs who delivered the highest ratings worldwide in 2013 across five continents in three categories: drama TV series, comedy TV series and telenovelas/soap operas. Modern Family was named the top comedy, while The Bold and the Beautiful won its ninth consecutive Golden Nymph for telenovelas/soap operas.

HOSTAGES Two-Hour Season Finale Sneak Peek

The first season of HOSTAGES wraps up with back-to-back episodes ("Suspicious Minds" and "Endgame") on Monday, January 6 starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

After Duncan discovers Sandrine's betrayal, he decides to use her to save Nina and Sawyer. Also, just before Ellen is to operate on the President, the First Lady confronts her and forces Ellen to tell the truth about the assassination plot.

Binge TV Continues on TVGN With All-Day HOSTAGES Marathon on January 5

This Sunday, TVGN (TV Guide Network) will offer viewers an exclusive TV catch-up of all 13 episodes of HOSTAGES, a high-octane suspense drama airing on CBS.

To get viewers ready for the two-hour season finale on CBS on Monday, January 6 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT), TVGN will air every HOSTAGES episode back-to-back starting with the series premiere from 1 p.m. ET/PT-2 a.m. ET/PT on Sunday, January 5.

HOSTAGES "The Cost of Living" Sneak Peek

The first season of HOSTAGES continues on Monday, December 9th at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

In "The Cost of Living," when Brian goes to the police to expose Duncan and his team, he decides against telling the truth after Burton shows up and shows him evidence of Ellen and Duncan getting close.

Meanwhile, Duncan's trip to New York City puts a snag in the plans to take out the President.

HOSTAGES "Burden of Truth" Sneak Peek

The first season of HOSTAGES continues on Monday, November 25th at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

In "Burden of Truth," after a member of the President's staff is murdered, Ellen urges Duncan to back out of the assassination plot, while other members of the President's staff take matters into their own hands.

Meanwhile, after scouring Nina's medical records, Ellen finds someone who might be a viable bone marrow donor.

The first season of HOSTAGES continues on Monday, November 18th at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

In "Loose Ends," when investigators get closer to discovering the conspiracy to kill the President, Duncan is ordered to get rid of an insider by someone very connected to the plot.

Meanwhile, Duncan takes the next step in his master plan and gives Ellen the poison she's to use to kill the President.

CBS Announces New Premiere Date for INTELLIGENCE

CBS announced on Monday the new premiere date for the action thriller INTELLIGENCE, which will have a special preview on Tuesday, Jan. 7 (9-10:01 p.m. ET/PT) following an original episode of NCIS. It will premiere in its regular Monday (10-11 p.m. ET/PT) time period on Jan. 13.

INTELLIGENCE stars Josh Holloway as a high-tech intelligence operative enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain. With this implant, Gabriel is the first human ever to be connected directly into the global information grid. He can hack into any data center and access key intel in the fight to protect the United States from its enemies.

The first season of HOSTAGES continues on Monday, November 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

In "Hail Mary," Ellen and Brian agree that they need to take down Duncan to have any chance of escaping, so she sneaks away to see a man who has previously helped her solve problems. However, unbeknownst to her, this man has ties to Duncan.

Meanwhile, Archer’s accomplice plans to reveal to the Assistant District Attorney information about a murder Archer committed

In "Sister's Keeper," when Ellen's sister, Lauren, shows up unexpectedly at their house intending to stay, Duncan forces Ellen to get rid of her without making it look suspicious.

Meanwhile, when the secret service calls Ellen in for questioning again, she must play it cool when Duncan is there to help do the questioning.

In "Invisible Leash," when Ellen disobeys Duncan's orders to assassinate the President during surgery, he tells her it will cost her a family member's life. Duncan also informs the family that they are to go about their normal lives for the next two weeks until the President's operation, and that his team will be monitoring their every move.

Hilarie Burton recurs as Samantha, Brian's mistress.
