'General Hospital' Preview: One Event Will Change a Town Forever


On Monday's episode of General Hospital, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) found Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) at her down. When Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) went looking for Kiki on Tuesday, he found her apartment door ajar and her shawl with blood on it.

"RIP Keeks," Erin tweeted on Wednesday. "Much love to my @GeneralHospital family, I’ll miss you guys. Thank you for this wonderful, wild ride in daytime. I'll always be grateful to the fans who embraced Kiki through the years, my life wouldn’t be nearly this beautiful without your constant love and support XO"

Now that Kiki is dead, will Ryan kill again before anyone stops him?

Freeform Picks Up 'Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists' Starring Sasha Pieterse, Kelly Rutherford, Hayley Erin

Freeform announced new and returning series on Tuesday, including Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, whose cast includes current General Hospital actress Hayley Erin.

The recently re-branded network continues to build its roster of quality programming that speaks to the young adult consumer who has embraced its authenticity, evident in recent multi-platform hits "grown-ish," "Siren" and the critically acclaimed "The Bold Type." In addition to strong female representation on-screen, the network champions and has built an impressive, inclusive roster behind the scenes. Half of Freeform's episodic directors are female, diverse, or LGBTQ, 60% of series writers are female or diverse, and every original series on the network has a female producer. The network also boasts placement as No. 1 in digital viewing, No. 5 entertainment network and the most social cable network for the seventh year in a row.

"BESTIES"

"Besties," a half-hour multi camera comedy from co-creators Kenya Barris and Ranada Shepard has been ordered to series by Freeform following the enormous success of Barris's breakout coming-of-age show, "grown-ish," the No. 1 cable comedy season-to-date (women 18-34.) This multi-cam sitcom explores friendship, identity, race, and class as two lifelong best friends use each other to get through some of the toughest challenges that they will ever face - figuring out who they are and who they want to be. Kenya Barris and Ranada Shepard are executive producers; the series is produced by ABC Signature Studios.

"PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: THE PERFECTIONISTS"

I. Marlene King will expand the universe of "Pretty Little Liars" for Freeform with a 10-episode series order for "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists," featuring returning fan favorites Sasha Pieterse as Alison and Janel Parrish as Mona and starring Sofia Carson (Disney's Descendants) as Ava. The drama also welcomes Sydney Park (The Walking Dead) as Caitlin, newcomer Eli Brown as Dylan, Graeme Thomas King (The Widow) as Jeremy, Kelly Rutherford (ex-Sam, Generations) as Claire, and Hayley Erin (Kiki, General Hospital) in an undisclosed role. In Beacon Heights, a seemingly perfect town, a group of three college friends struggle with the stress of being overachievers. In the aftermath of the town's first murder, each Perfectionist hides behind a secret, a lie and an alibi. Like its predecessor, "Pretty Little Liars," which was No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list, "The Perfectionists" is also based on a popular book series penned by Sara Shepard. "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists" is produced by Alloy Entertainment and Long Lake Media, in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television. I. Marlene King ("Pretty Little Liars," "Famous in Love") wrote the pilot and serves as executive producer on the series with Charlie Craig ("Pretty Little Liars," "The 100"), Lisa Cochran-Neilan ("Pretty Little Liars," "Famous in Love"), Leslie Morgenstein ("Pretty Little Liars," "The Vampire Diaries") and Gina Girolamo ("The 100," "The Originals"). The pilot was directed and executive produced by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum ("Relationship Status").

“My best friend is now my fiancĂ©,” Erin (Kiki on GH) tweeted with some pictures of their trip and the ring. Luedtke replied on Twitter with: “I love you” and added some photos of the actual proposal declaring it a magical day.

Soap opera stars shine at Samantha's Friends fundraiser
The annual fundraiser for Samantha's Friends — a nonprofit organization that provides service canines to people challenged by disabilities such as autism, stroke and combat injuries— was held on July 9 at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club. This year the guest list included Days of our Lives stars Martha Madison, Eric Martsolf, Jordi Vilasuso and Christopher Sean.

Martsolf was recognized for taking part in his fifth Samantha's Friends fundraiser, despite missing one flight and getting his second flight canceled the first time he came out for the event.

"Who knew that my worst flying experience would turn into one of my favorite charitable experiences?" Martsolf said.

Festivities included a canine parade, live and silent auction and fashion show featuring styles from Panache’, Jackie Z Style Co. and Ansley Z Kids Co.

Bold and the Beautiful actor Don Diamont has another son who is a rising quarterback star
Luca Diamont, a sophomore quarterback at Venice, is being trained by his brother, Zander, a former All-City quarterback at Venice High School who spent four years at Indiana.

"The sky is the ceiling for him," says Zander. "I firmly believe he’s the best quarterback in his class."

Donna Mills takes a golden opportunity to add magic to her dining room
Knots Landing actress Donna Mills was perfectly happy with her low-key Brentwood dining room, with its off-white walls and troves of antiques. That is, until she stepped into the Silver Lake home of her friend, artist Adam Kurtzman, and saw his gold-colored walls.

“I took one look and thought, ‘That’s what I want,’” she said.

Kurtzman spent 10 days applying small squares of gold leaf onto the walls of Mills’ dining room, elevating it from a classic space into something more dazzling.

'General Hospital' Actress Hayley Erin to Guest Star in 'NCIS' on October 11

General Hospital actress Hayley Erin (Kiki Jerome) will guest star on the top-rated CBS drama, NCIS, on October 11.

In the episode, titled "Love Boat," after the body of a navy lieutenant is discovered aboard a destroyer during a tiger cruise, when civilian guests are allowed to spend the night on the ship, Gibbs, Quinn and Palmer travel out to sea to investigate. Also, McGee contemplates the perfect proposal for Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman).

Erin will play Kasey Powers.
