FRINGE Coming To Science Channel Starting Nov. 20

Science Channel invites viewers to join FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham, eccentric scientist Dr. Walter Bishop and his estranged son Peter as they investigate the universe of the paranormal and science of the unexplained on the breakthrough series FRINGE. Beginning Thanksgiving Week, the critically-acclaimed franchise returns to its very beginning with an expanded examination of actual fringe science that only Science Channel can provide.

Friday Night Ratings: NIKITA, FRINGE Steady, GRIMM Down Slightly

The overnights are in for Friday, November 9. Below is a roundup of today's Nielsen ratings reports:

From ABC:
With its comedies (LAST MAN STANDING/MALIBU COUNTRY), SHARK TANK and 20/20, ABC won Friday in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd week in a row, leading by double-digit percentages over CBS (+13%), NBC (+33%) and Fox (+64%).

From TVBTN:
On the CW, NIKITA was even with last week's 0.3 adults 18-49 rating (890,000 total viewers).

From ABC:
Building on its lead-in at 8:30 p.m. by over 1 million viewers and by 16% in young adults, the series debut of Reba McEntire's MALIBU COUNTRY soared to the top of its half-hour.

From TVBTN:
On NBC, the telethon Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, which was simulcast on numerous cable channels, earned a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating

FRINGE Series Finale Set For January 18

As the FRINGE team fights for humanity's future in the fifth and final season, the imaginative journey toward the end of the acclaimed series will culminate in a climactic conclusion during the two-hour final-two-episodes event Friday, Jan. 18 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on FOX. This milestone date will also celebrate the series' 100th episode.

Series Co-Creator and Executive Producer J.J. Abrams reflected on the show's run: "It has been an absolute honor to have been a part of the weird and wonderful world of FRINGE. I will always owe the cast and crew for pouring their hearts and souls into every dimension of this series. Creating the show with Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman was a joy, but watching it evolve over the years into such an imaginative, insane and heartbreaking ride is nothing less than a thrill.
