'American Horror Story: Cult' to Premiere September 5 on FX

The seventh installment of the groundbreaking and award-winning anthology series, American Horror Story: Cult, from Co-Creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, will premiere Tuesday, September 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX

The first clues to the seventh installment were unveiled at a special stunt on the waterfront adjacent to the FXhibition at the Hilton Bayfront Park at San Diego Comic-Con. The installment encouraged fans to visit www.AHS7.com, which disclosed the title and premiere date and will serve as the source for all future reveals ahead of the premiere.

The sixth installment, American Horror Story: Roanoke, recently received four Emmy Award nominations in the hairstyling, makeup and sound editing categories. The American Horror Story franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.

Next Installment of ACS: 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story'

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story will now be the second installment of FX's award-winning American Crime Story limited series franchise. Production of Versace: ACS began in April and it is tentatively slated to debut in early 2018.

Katrina: American Crime Story, which was originally scheduled as the second installment of the American Crime Story franchise, now becomes the third installment of the limited series. Production of Katrina: ACS is now slated to begin in early 2018.

Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk and Tom Rob Smith are Executive Producers of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. It is written by Tom Rob Smith, and Ryan Murphy directed the premiere episode of the series, which stars Darren Criss, Edgar Ramirez, Penelope Cruz and Ricky Martin. The series is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.

FX's first installment of ACS, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, received 22 Emmy Award nominations and it won nine Emmys. It also won the Golden Globe, BAFTA, AFI, PGA, WGA and TCA awards and it was the most critically acclaimed program of 2016.

'Archer' Renewed For Three More Seasons by FX

Hit animated comedy series Archer has been renewed for three more seasons, it was announced Tuesday by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions. Archer will return for an eight-episode season 8 in early 2017, followed by two additional eight-episode seasons. FX Networks has also reached a new overall production deal with Floyd County Productions.

"We can't say enough about what Adam, Matt and the entire Archer team at Floyd County have done to keep this series so insanely funny and vital through seven seasons," said Grad. "The move to Los Angeles this past season as private detectives was just the latest twist in Archer's legendary exploits and the next three seasons will to be just as amazing and unpredictable. We are thrilled to continue making great TV with our friends and colleagues at Floyd County."

'American Horror Story: Hotel' Premieres Tonight on FX

American Horror Story: Hotel, the 13-episode fifth installment of the Emmy and Golden Globe winning franchise, premieres tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.

AHS: Hotel features an all-star cast of Lady Gaga, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Chloƫ Sevigny, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Evan Peters and Finn Wittrock.

In "Checking In," detective and family man John Lowe (Bentley) investigates a chain of gruesome murders in Los Angeles. A mysterious tip points him to the enigmatic Hotel Cortez.

FX Orders 10 Episodes of 'Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll' Created by and Starring Denis Leary

FX is officially back in business with Denis Leary, placing a 10-episode order for the comedy series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, it was announced Monday by Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, the Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. Created by and starring Leary, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll is produced by FX Productions and Fox Television Studios, and will premiere on FX in 2015.

"It's great to be back in business with Denis Leary, Jim Serpico and Tom Sellitti, and we're thrilled to start on a new project that is both unique and hilarious," said Schrier. "Johnny Rock is the role that Denis Leary was born to play."

FX Orders Third Season of THE AMERICANS

FX has picked up its hit drama THE AMERICANS for a 13-episode third season, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. One of television's most critically-acclaimed series, THE AMERICANS has fast become a signature show for FX. Six episodes remain in the current season, including tonight's broadcast. The series airs Wednesdays at 10:00 PM E/P.

In its first season, THE AMERICANS was the most critically-acclaimed new program of 2013, winning the Television Critics Association Award for Outstanding New Program. The critical acclaim for season 2 has surpassed that of its remarkable first season.

"THE AMERICANS continues be one of the best shows on television," said Schrier. "Executive Producers Joe Weisberg, Joel Fields and Graham Yost have done a wonderful job delivering two seasons, and the performances from Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys and Noah Emmerich are stellar. Fans will be blown away by the rest of this season, and we can't wait to see what they come up with next year."

Get Ready For AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW

It was announced last week that FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY would be adopting a carnival aesthetic for its upcoming fourth season, leading some to speculate that the season may be set around a "freak show," a la Todd Browning's 1932 horror classic, Freaks. Today, series creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that the plan is to do just that, posting a "Freak Show" logo along with "AMERICAN HORROR STORY SEASON FOUR:"

Previous reports suggest that AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW will be set in the 1950s with Jessica Lange already confirmed to be returning.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 4 to Be Set at a Carnival

AMERICAN HORROR STORY has tackled a haunted house, an asylum and a coven of witches. Next season, the anthology series will be set at a carnival. Douglas Petrie, one of the show's writers, broke the news on a Nerdist podcast. A title for the show's fourth season has not been announced.

ARCHER Receives Additional Two-Season Order from FX

FX will stay in the 'Danger Zone' at least through 2016 by ordering two additional seasons of its Emmy and Annie Award nominated animated hit comedy series ARCHER, announced Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions.

FX has ordered 13 episodes for each of the series' sixth and seventh seasons. The series is produced by FX Productions. Seven all new episodes of ARCHER remain in season five with the finale slated for Monday, April 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The additional season orders of ARCHER are unrelated to Floyd County Productions existing overall deal with FX Productions.

"ARCHER is one of the best comedies on television and has played a significant role in the growth of the FX comedy brand," said Schrier. "We're grateful to Adam Reed, Matt Thompson and their team at Floyd County, and also our incredible voice cast, and are looking forward to supporting their work for at least two more seasons."

ARCHER Album "Cherlene" To Be Released On March 3

FX's award-winning animated half-hour comedy smash ARCHER is spawning a 12-track album, "Cherlene," featuring original music, which will be released on all digital platforms on Monday, March 3.

The album will be highlighted by a duet with Cherlene and pop music icon Kenny Loggins. Cherlene is the reimagined alter ego of Archer’s Cheryl Tunt, also referred to as Carol Tunt. She and Loggins join forces to put all of their stunning musical talents on display in the previously-released song Danger Zone (also a favorite Sterling Archer catchphrase). A world premiere video of the tune will play in Episode 6 of Archer’s fifth season the night of March 3. Season 5 of the series launched on January 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, marking the show's move to a new night.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN Finale Reigns Supreme in Ratings

FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN, the third miniseries of the AMERICAN HORROR STORY franchise, wrapped up in spectacular fashion as last night’s season finale (1/29/14, 10-11:11 p.m. ET/PT) delivered 4.2 million Total Viewers, 2.84 Million Adults 18-49 and 1.58 million Adults 18-34 (Live+SameDay). When Live+7 ratings become available in approximately three weeks, last night’s finale of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN could rank as the #1 episode ever of the three AMERICAN HORROR STORY miniseries.

FX Looks Back to the Future with THE AMERICANS - Season 2 Premieres February 26

FX's drama THE AMERICANS returns for its second season on Wednesday, February 26 at 10 PM ET/PT.

THE AMERICANS was recently named by the AFI as one of the Programs of the Year. The series also received the most Television Critics Association Awards nominations of any show this year (four) and earned four Critics' Choice Television Award nominations. The series stars Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Noah Emmerich, Holly Taylor, Keidrich Sellati, Annet Mahendru, Alison Wright and Susan Misner.

The series premiere of THE AMERICANS on January 30, 2013 stands as FX's most-watched drama debut ever, drawing 5.1 million viewers.

Currently in production in New York, THE AMERICANS is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington D.C. shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President.

FX Orders Fourth Installment of AMERICAN HORROR STORY Franchise

FX has ordered a fourth installment of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning miniseries franchise from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, it was announced today by John Landgraf, CEO, FX Networks and FX Productions. The network has ordered 13 episodes from Twentieth Century Fox Television.
