Trent Dawson Reunites 'As the World Turns' Cast for 'The F' Benefit

In 2017 an original play written by As the World Turns alum Trent Dawson, "The F," was produced at Manhatten Rep. in New York City. The play struck a chord with theatre-goers and is now being made into a film.

"The F" follows a real-time argument between Josh and Amanda. In this dark comedy, a New York subway platform becomes the stage for two lovers to battle about the truth: Did he or didn’t he? Who’s perception is real and who is delusional? A strange commuter seems to have the answers to their problems, but will either of them listen to her?

Dawson brought together a number of his former ATWT co-stars to perform "The F" live on stage at a benefit for the film on Friday, June 22. (Click here to support "The F" via the film's GoFundMe page.)

Check out more photos below from the benefit, which included Dawson (ATWT's Henry Coleman), Martha Byrne (Lily Walsh Snyder), Austin Peck (Brad Synder), Terri Conn (Katie Peretti Snyder), Anne Sayre (Mitzi Matters) and Eric Sheffer Stevens (Dr. Reid Oliver).

'General Hospital' star Jane Elliot on Her (Shocking!) Daytime Emmy Nomination
Elliot had not submitted herself for consideration for 20 years, and was not planning on submitting this year.

"As usual, I said no and [GH executive producer] Frank Valentini put his foot down and would not take no for an answer. That is how much he believes in me, how much he cares. I have never had a producer go out of his or her way to support me the way Frank does. [Former GH executive producer] Gloria Monty refused to submit me for the Emmy the year I won, so I submitted myself just because I was so pissed that she refused to do it! Frank is the only one who ever said, 'You'll be submitted this year, whether you like it or not. It's not up for discussion.' "

Elliot joked that her friend Deidre Hall may not be available to do her roots.

Eric Sheffer Stevens: [Smiles] I'm not a great soccer player. I don't know where you heard that. I can play. I'm a great soccer watcher, an avid watcher of European soccer.

We Love Soaps: How did you get into that?
Eric Sheffer Stevens: I don't know. It's a long story, but [I've been watching] for the last 10 years at least, or eight, since I've figured out how to use the internet. More of more European games are being shown here and especially at pubs around the city.
