Scream Queens premiered last week to modest overnight ratings (4 million viewers) but saw a huge bump with DVR and online viewing. In the live-plus-three-day (L3) ratings, Scream Queens got an 80% lift, to a new total of 7.3 million across all platforms, including Fox Now and Hulu. The median age of the show also dropped from 52 to 36.

“The story of the fall is just how much people are time-shifting and watching programming in new and much more dramatic ways than even six months ago,” says executive producer Ryan Murphy.

On the next episode, airing tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX, the Red Devil's reign of terror continues.

In "Chainsaw," Chanel finds a new project in Hester, Chanel #3 confesses a secret and Grace and Zayday uncover a surprising connection between two fellow students. Meanwhile, Denise sets her sights on one of the Kappas, and Dean Munsch appoints a new Wallace University mascot as Chad and Earl Grey lead the fraternity on a witch hunt for the Red Devil.

'Scream Queens' Preview: The Girls of Kappa House Are Dying For New Pledges

Scream Queens premieres Tuesday, September 22 on FOX.
The girls of Kappa House are dying for new pledges in FOX's Scream Queens, premiering with a two-hour special on Tuesday, September 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Scream Queens is a new killer comedy-horror series from award-winning executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.

Kappa House, the most sought-after sorority for pledges, is ruled with an iron fist (in a pink glove) by Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts). But when anti-Kappa Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) decrees that sorority pledging must be open to all students, and not just the school’s silver-spooned elite, all hell is about to break loose, as a devil-clad killer begins wreaking havoc across the campus.

An over-the-top, biting satire, Scream Queens is part black comedy, part slasher flick and a modern take on the classic whodunit, in which every character has a motive for murder…or could easily be the next victim.
