'General Hospital' Stars Team Up with Rollman Foundation to Battle Ovarian Cancer

A group of stars from General Hospital is heading for Philadelphia in September as part of two Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month events from the Sandy Rollman Foundation, a force for education, support, and resources in the fight against the disease.

Actors William Devry (Julian), Tamara Braun (Kim), Donnell Turner (Curtis), Eden McCoy (Josslyn) and Wes Ramsey (Peter) will be headlining two events on September 14: An evening at the Helium Club with the cast, with Q&A, autographs, and photos and a private dinner afterward. The Sandy Rollman Foundation will also present a research grant during the Helium Club show.

Emmy-nominated McCoy can’t wait to get there.

"Our GH fanbase is made up of the most loving, passionate, and dedicated people," she says. "I can’t wait to meet the ones coming out to support funding for this foundation. We’re going to have a great time!"

General Hospital stars Donnell Turner and Laura Wright joined Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host Chris Harrison on the February 28 broadcast of nationally-syndicated game show.

Contestants Turner and Wright won $20,000 that was split between two charities -- Autism Speaks and One Simple Wish.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has hosted a multitude of popular celebrities on the show, and on February 28, two daytime favorites will stop by to play the game together and try to win money for worthy causes. Donnell Turner and Laura Wright, stars of ABC's Emmy Award-winning daytime drama General Hospital, will join host Chris Harrison, and take on “Millionaire’s” 14 questions.

Turner and Wright will split their winnings between two charities. Turner – who portrays Curtis Ashford on GH – is playing for Autism Speaks. Wright – GH's Carly Corinthos - is playing for One Simple Wish, an organization with the mission of spreading love, hope and joy to children impacted by foster care, abuse and neglect.
