The second season of Rogue premieres May 28.
DirecTV's suspense-drama Rogue, from leading independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) and Greenroom Entertainment in conjunction with Momentum TV, will premiere on Wednesday, May 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Award-winning actress Thandie Newton will resume her role as Grace Travis and joining the strong ensemble cast is Cole Hauser as the charming and enigmatic Ethan Kelly.

Season two of the DirecTV original series will see Grace attempt to navigate a new life. But things can't stay quiet for long. Separated from her husband, she is committed to providing a stable home for her daughter Evie (Sarah Jeffries), but those plans are thwarted by the unexpected arrival of her estranged mother Vivian (Clare Higgins). Professionally, Grace has taken a job as a handler for an FBI Task Force investigating the shadowy world of corporate espionage in San Francisco. But when her undercover operative Sarah (Aleksa Palladino) goes missing, Grace is forced to return to the life she so vehemently renounced.

While undercover, Grace meets Ethan Kelly, who owns the security consulting firm Sarah was in the midst of investigating when she disappeared. Ethan has his own agenda and soon a dangerous game of cat and mouse ensues. Uncovering the truth will lead Grace to discover a dark secret in Ethan's past; a secret that has led to betrayal and murder and that will ultimately bind Ethan and Grace's fates together.

NEWS ROUNDUP: TRA Ranks TV Shows By Political Party; Nick Wechsler Talks REVENGE; DirecTV's New DVR Records 5 Shows at Once

The CW's SUPERNATURAL is popular with
Democrats according to a new Tivo Study
Republicans Like Golf, Democrats Prefer Cartoons, Tivo Research Suggests
The results come from an analysis assembled by TRA Inc. (which stands for TiVo Research and Analytics), and are based on a model that matches viewing data from cable set-top boxes with voter-registration information from 186,000 households. Measured during the first two quarters of 2012 (which is why there is no football, but plenty of basketball), TRA listed programs by how they performed with registered voters of either party (as well as independents) compared to a base of all registered voters.

In general, the conclusions pointed to television viewing that is every bit as polarized as the political culture. The research listed the top 20 shows for Democratic and Republican viewers and not one network show appeared on both lists.

NEW ROUNDUP: Kassie DePaiva Visits Ailing Father. GH Recast? 3C Infringement? Plus, Lori Loughlin, Viacom vs. DirecTV, Freddie Smith & More

"3C" cast Jake Silbermann, Anna Chlumsky and Hannah Cabell
New play "3C" concludes run despite cease and desist order from THREE'S COMPANY
Most playwrights have jitters on opening night, but David Adjmi was in a panic amid the festivities last month for “3C,” his darkly comic deconstruction of the 1970s sitcom “Three’s Company.” That same day he learned that the copyright owner of “Three’s Company” had sent a cease-and-desist letter to the play’s producers charging that Mr. Adjmi had infringed on the copyright by borrowing so many elements from the TV series, including its premise about a man who pretends to be gay to live with two female roommates.

The show went on — but the copyright fight remains far from resolved.
