'The Bay' Spins Off Young Adult Series 'yA'


Twins Bianca D'Ambrosio and Chiara D'Ambrosio (Nickelodeon's Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn) are set to star in a new young adult spinoff of Emmy and Indie Series Award winning The Bay titled yA.

Currently in pre-production, yA is co-written by original series creator and showrunner Gregori J. Martin and former General Hospital executive producer Wendy Riche. The show will be be co-directed by Martin and The Bay star Kristos Andrews, with principal photography set to begin next month.

Andrews' character, Pete Garrett, from The Bay will crossover to the series along with Lane Davies as Capt. Mackenzie Johnson, Dante Aleksander as Xander Castro, and Michael Copon as Colton Kurosaki.

Mike C. Manning (Teen Wolf) is also attached to the series with additional attachments to be announced.

'The Good Wife' Spinoff To Premiere Spring 2017 on CBS All Access

CBS Television Studios and CBS All Access announced Wednesday it will launch a spinoff of The Good Wife for the spring of 2017. Building upon the incredible success and critical acclaim of broadcast television’s most successful drama, the spinoff will pick up one year after the events of the final episode of “The Good Wife.”

The spinoff will star Christine Baranski who will reprise her role as the beloved Diane Lockhart, the role which earned her six Emmy Award nominations. Baranski will be joined by fan-favorite Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn, along with the introduction of new characters as the story evolves. Note: Baranski was married to All My Children star Matthew Cowles for more than 20 years, until his death in 2014.

The series will be available exclusively in the United States on CBS All Access, the Network’s digital subscription video on demand and live streaming service, making it the second original series developed specifically for CBS All Access, following “Star Trek.”

Telemundo Unveils Mid-Season Digital Series Based On Hit Novela 'El Señor de los Cielos'

Following the success of the first season of El Señor de los Cielos (Lord of the Skies), that averaged 2.3 million viewers nightly and generated more than 35 million page views on Telemundo.com, Telemundo announces the premiere of The Secret Episode (El Capitulo Secreto), an unprecedented seven-part mid-season web-series that will bridge the first season cliffhanger with the upcoming second season. Starting April 22nd, fans that sought long-awaited answers regarding the fate of Aurelio Casillas will enjoy two new action-packed digital chapters per week leading up to the complete full-length episode that will be available on May 9th across all Telemundo Digital and Social platforms including Online, Mobile and the novelas application.
