3rd Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards Nominations

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) today announced nominations for the 3rd Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards, which will be held the evening of Monday, June 10, 2013 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. For the first time the award show will be webcast live on UStream.

Indie Soap Award-nominated actress and stand-up comedian Retta, currently starring as Donna Meagle on PARKS AND RECREATION, will host.

NOMINATIONS: 2nd Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards; MAD MEN Leads Dramas

Nominations for the 2nd Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards were announced Tuesday and primetime soap operas were well represented. MAD MEN picked up the most nominations among drama series with 5.

NBC lead all networks with 14 nominations followed by ABC with 13 and Fox with 12. HBO got the most among cable networks with 12, while FX and AMC each received 11 nominations.

The nominated shows reflect “the amazing diversity and creativity that is exploding on the small screen today,” said Joey Berlin, acting president of the Broadcast Television Journalist Association, an off shoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, which presents the awards.
