Syfy Kicks Off Spring 2014 with a New and Returning Prmetime Schedule

The debut of the new reality series JIM HENSON'S CREATURE SHOP CHALLENGE (March 25), the fifth and final season of WAREHOUSE 13 (April 14), a trio of weekly Tuesday night original specials - CARVERS (March 4), MY BIG FAT GEEK WEDDING (March 11) and FOXY & CO. (March 18) - and the Season 3 return of CONTINUUM (April 4) will be among the original programming highlights of Syfy's 2014 spring primetime schedule.

CONTINUUM Will Return to Syfy For Its Third Season

Syfy has announced that it will air the third season of the popular time traveling police series CONTINUUM. The #1 original cable drama in its Friday 10PM time period, CONTINUUM will return to the network in 2014 with 13 all-new episodes.

Currently airing season two, which concludes on Friday, August 30, CONTINUUM ranks as the #1 original cable drama in its time slot among Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and total viewers. Based on Live +7 data, the series is currently averaging 728K Adults 18-49, 836K Adults 25-54 and 1.8 million total viewers, up 21 percent, 18 percent, and 21 percent, respectively, from season one.

CONTINUUM Coming To Syfy On January 14

Joining recent original series acquisitions such as the hit LOST GIRL and the upcoming PRIMEVAL: NEW WORLD and SINBAD, Syfy today announced it will premiere the time traveling police drama CONTINUUM – Canada’s highest-rated scripted basic cable series – beginning Monday, January 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

CONTINUUM stars Rachel Nichols (Criminal Minds, Alias) as Kiera Cameron, a cop from the future who finds herself trapped in the present day. When a group of fanatical terrorists escapes their planned execution in 2077 by vaulting back in time to 2012, they inadvertently sweep along Kiera, a dedicated City Protective Services officer.
