LA IMPOSTORA Will Premiere on Telemundo January 14

Telemundo announced today the eagerly awaited LA IMPOSTORA, will premiere on Tuesday, January 14 at 8 p.m. ET. Starring Christian Bach, Sebastián Zurita and Lisette Morelos, the story follows the fate of Blanca Guerrero (Morelos), a lovely young waitress in a beach town on Mexico’s Pacific coast who has an extraordinary ability to imitate other people. A powerful Mexican businessman, Adriano Ferrer (Manuel Landeta), notices her talent and hires her to impersonate a millionaire New York investor. Blanca accepts the challenge, never dreaming that living a lie will lead her to true love. Filmed in high definition by Telemundo Studios, the telenovela is set in locations around Mexico, including the world-famous beaches of Acapulco, Guerrero.

This epic story of love, intrigue, thrills and all-too-real situations is Sebastián Zurita's first production for Telemundo as well as his first appearance in a telenovela alongside his famous mother, acclaimed actress Christian Bach.

Telemundo Studios has announced the cast of LA IMPOSTORA, an original production currently filming in Mexico and featuring Christian Bach, Sebastián Zurita and Lisette Morelos. This epic love story full of thrills, intrigue and real-life situations is Sebastián Zurita’s first production for Telemundo and his first appearance in a telenovela alongside his famous mother, actress and producer Christian Bach.

LA IMPOSTORA is Christian Bach’s second project with Telemundo after playing the role of Antonia Guerra in LA PATRONA. Lissette Morelos also returns to the network to play the lead role in the production following her performance as Blanca Ponce de León in “Aurora.”

Telemundo's anticipated original production, LA PATRONA (The Boss), premieres Tuesday, January 8 at 9 p.m. ET, starring telenovela stars Aracely Arámbula, Jorge Luis Pila and Christian Bach. This telenovela tells the story of Gabriela Suarez (Aracely Arámbula), the only woman working in a mine in a beautiful Mexican town called San Pedro del Oro.

Due to unexpected circumstances in life, Gabriela meets Alejandro Beltrán (Jorge Luis Pila), the oldest son of Antonia Guerra (Christian Bach), better known as “La Patrona.” Gabriela will live a romance with Alejandro that several people will oppose to, including Antonia, who will become her number one enemy fighting both for her son’s love and to become “La Patrona.”

Jorge Luis Pila & Christian Bach Join LA PATRONA, The New Telemundo Novela Starring Aracely Arámbula

After much speculation of who will be Aracely Arámbula’s co-lead on LA PATRONA, Telemundo Studios revealed that Jorge Luis Pila will be starring in this original super production alongside the renowned Mexican actress and singer. Novela star Christian Bach also joins the stellar cast of this telenovela that will soon kick-off its production in Mexico.

Pila has become one of today’s leading actors, with successful telenovelas broadcast in the United States and around the world. LA PATRONA marks his return to Mexico, where he began his acting career. He has starred in several Telemundo original productions, including DONDE ESTA ELISA, AURORA and MAS SABE EL DIABLO, in addition to special appearances in LA CASA DE EL LADO and CORAZON VALIENTE. In 2011, Pila was featured as one of the 50 Most Beautiful of People en Español.
