Queen Bea: A Soapsical Interview With Chris Stack

Roger Newcomb and I nearly laughed our heads off at the February 9th performance of "Queen Bea: A Soapsical."  This is a hilarious new musical featuring some of your favorite ONE LIFE TO LIVE stars.  There is one more performance on Saturday February 13th, in Manhattan.  This is absolutely a can't-miss production for soap fans. You can still reserve a seat by calling 212.695.6909.  Then enjoy the below interview with Chris Stack, who plays an aging soap star on the show.

We Love Soaps: I really enjoyed your performance in "Queen Bea." You show a side here that ONE LIFE viewers never got to see.
Chris Stack: That’s the side nobody has seen since I was a senior in high school.  The musical aspect.

We Love Soaps: What musicals did you do in high school?
Chris Stack: I did "Annie Get Your Gun," "Carousel," "Music Man," and "Once Upon A Mattress." The part of the king in that is a mute, that’s why I got cast.  My one big song was pantomime.

We Love Soaps: Did you typically play older characters in high school?
Chris Stack: The king was 70.
