Kassie DePaiva Joins DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Eve Donovan (Confirmed)

Kassie DePaiva is joining the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

DePaiva wrote in a message on her official website on January 8th: "Good things are ahead this year and I hope to have more to report very soon."

It was around this time DePaiva followed the official DAYS Twitter account, as well as DAYS actors Shawn Christian (Daniel) and Charles Chaughnessy (Shane). That led fans to speculate that DAYS might be one of the "good things" she was talking about.

Today, TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan tweeted the following: "DONE DEAL? I'm hearing it's OFFICIAL! @KassieDePaiva @nbcdays @DaysofourLives #DOOL #Days #daysofourlives"

DePaiva is best known for her two decade run on ONE LIFE TO LIVE in the role of Blair Cramer, a part she reprised both on GENERAL HOSPITAL and Prospect Park's new ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Prior to OLTL, she played Chelsea Reardon on GUIDING LIGHT.

VH1 is giving its dramatic scripted series HIT THE FLOOR a second season. HIT THE FLOOR is currently the highest rated new summer scripted cable series for Adults 18-49. The series is also the #1 program in cable during its Monday night timeslot among Adults 18-49 (excluding sports and specials), Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Women 18-49. The series is averaging 1.22 in the Adult 18-49 demo and has attracted an average of 1.9 million total viewers.
