Former 'Another World' Actor Charles Keating Has Died

Actor Charles Keating has died at age 72.

The London-born actor starred in multiple soap operas from 1983-2003. His daytime roles included Carl Hutchins on Another World (1983-1985, 1991-1999) Damon Lazarre in All My Children (1987-1988), Niles Mason on As the World Turns (1989-1991), and James Ritchfield in Port Charles (2001-2003).

He won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1996 for his performance on Another World, his fourth nomination for the series. He was also nominated for four Soap Opera Digest Awards.

1995: Carl confronts Grant.
1996: Carl and Rachel after Ryan dies.

1997: Carl tries to get one of the twins, Elizabeth, to stop crying.
1999: Carl and Rachel are reunited.
