'General Hospital' Star Chad Duell Joins 'The Bay' as Adam Kenway

General Hospital actor Chad Duell has joined the cast of The Bay.
Chad Duell won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2015 for his portrayal of Michael Corinthos on ABC soap opera General Hospital. He's now taking on a new role in Emmy and Indie Series Award winning The Bay, as a mysterious young man named Adam Kenway who comes to Bay City with an agenda and wreaks havoc in the lives of Pete Garrett (Kristos Andrews) and his mother, Sara (Mary Beth Evans).

"I'm excited for Chad's fans to see him in a role very different from what he’s played before," showrunner Gregori J. Martin teased. "He did a stellar job in bringing the character of Adam to life."

Duell was excited to be part of the popular digital series.

"I heard a lot about the show and had been wanting to be a part of it," he said. "I knew they had a great cast and crew, so I was really looking forward to working with them. I had a ton of fun on set and am looking forward to working more on the project in the future." I loved playing Adam Kenway. He is such a different character than what I have played in my past, which made him so much fun to play. He is a very dark and complex individual, and I had a blast playing with this character. He is so opposite of how I am in real life and those are always the most fun and challenging roles to play."

Duell joins The Bay's all-star cast of stars.

"The Bay is loaded with talented actors,” Duell said, “and I had the pleasure of working closely with Kristos Andrews, Karrueche Tran, Mary Beth Evans, and Thomas Calabro. They were all great. Kristos and I are good friends off camera, so it was different yet fun playing characters that hated each other on screen. I worked a lot with Thomas, he and I had a lot of fun. He’s hilarious and very talented. I can go on and on about everyone. It was such a good experience and I am very happy to be a part of such a wonderful cast.”

Amazon Prime members can watch for free, while non-members can purchase Seasons 1 & 2 for $12.99 each or individually for $1.99 an episode.

The Bay Season 3 is slated to be released in late spring 2017.
