'Gunsmoke' Stars Set to Reunite in Legendary Dodge City

Miss Kitty and Matt Dillon have been part of cultural history for over sixty years this September. Their names have been in songs, books and stories since they first graced the small screen in the legendary Gunsmoke series. From 1955 to 1975 families gathered around their television sets to see the latest drama unfold in the Wild West. The series still stands as the longest-running prime time, live action show. Sixty years later, audiences still cheer on Marshal Dillon as he brings justice to the streets of historic Dodge City.

To commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of Gunsmoke, the Wild West Heritage Foundation with Boot Hill Casino & Resort are bringing several legendary Gunsmoke actors to Dodge City, the show’s iconic home. Celebrities scheduled to appear include:

• Buck Taylor, who portrayed Deputy Newly O’Brien on the series from 1967-1975
• Jess Walton, who portrayed Patricia on the series in 1973 (currently Jill on The Young and the Restless)
• Lane Bradbury, who portrayed Merry Florene (among others) on the series 1965-1969
• Bruce Boxleitner, who portrayed Toby Hogue on the series in 1975
• Jim Byrnes, who served as a writer on the series from 1969-1975

'The Thanksgiving House' Premieres Tonight, Stars Emily Rose, Lindsay Wagner, Justin Bruening, Bruce Boxleitner, Jack Scalia

Emily Rose (Audrey, HAVEN) stars as a lawyer who inherits a house on what just may be the site of the first Thanksgiving in The Thanksgiving House, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere Saturday, November 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Along with Rose, Emmy Award Winner Lindsay Wagner (ex-Jamie, BIONIC WOMAN), Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie, ALL MY CHILDREN), Adam Kaufman and Bruce Boxleitner (Bob, DEBBIE MACOMBER'S CEDAR COVE) have stakes in whether "The Thanksgiving House" becomes a part of Plymouth's history, or a private family treasure.

When Boston lawyer Mary Ross (Rose) inherits a house in Plymouth from her late aunt, she has no idea she may have inherited a historical treasure. Mary's initial desire to sell the house is supported by her slick boyfriend, Rick (Kaufman), but she is shocked to discover local historian Everett Mather (Bruening) has evidence that her house is located on the site of the first Thanksgiving!

CEDAR COVE Season 1 Finale Preview

In "Homecoming," Justine (Sarah Smyth) and Seth (Corey Sevier) finally learn the truth about Warren’s (Brennan Elliott) corrupt business deals and dishonest double-life, putting Justine in danger as she cooperates with the FBI.

Grace (Teryl Rothery) convinces Cliff (guest star Sebastian Spence) to give dating another chance, while Olivia (Andie MacDowell) and Jack (Dylan Neal) are happy to be back together after Jack makes Cedar Cove his permanent home. But the reunited couple struggles to find Jack’s son Eric (guest star Tom Stevens), who needs to take responsibility for his unborn daughter.

As the Christmas season approaches in Cedar Cove, Olivia’s (Andie MacDowell) spirits are down as she faces "A New Life" when Jack (Dylan Neal) moves to Philadelphia after their sudden breakup. But when Jack returns for a few days to hire his replacement at the Chronicle, the lingering love for Olivia he’s been fighting returns.

Complicating his short stay even further, Jack finds one last story to cover for the paper when he notices FBI agents sleuthing around town, watching a nervous Warren Saget (Brennan Elliott).

Bruce Boxleitner Joins DEBBIE MACOMBER'S CEDAR COVE

Hallmark Channel announced on Monday that Bruce Boxleitner (BABYLON 5, SCARECROW AND MRS. KING) has been cast as a series regular in Hallmark Channel’s first-ever primetime series, DEBBIE MACOMBER'S CEDAR COVE. The two-hour drama is set to premiere Saturday, July 20 (8 p.m. ET/PT), with Boxleitner joining the cast regularly as Bob Beldon, owner of the local Cedar Cove Inn, Thyme and Tide.

The series is based on the bestselling book series Cedar Cove by #1 New York Times bestselling author, Debbie Macomber and stars Andie MacDowell along with Dylan Neal (THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL), Sarah Smyth, Paula Shaw and Brennan Elliott. As previously announced, Teryl Rothery has been cast as a series regular playing Grace, Judge Olivia Lockhart’s (MacDowell) best friend.
