SOAPnet Airing BROTHERS & SISTERS Marathon On July 4th

SOAPnet celebrates the Fourth of July with a bang. “A Brothers & Sisters Marathon: Walker Family Fireworks” airs on Wednesday, July 4 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.. Relive all the family drama with Nora, Kitty, Justin, Tommy, Sarah, Kevin and the whole Walker gang in nine explosive episodes.

SOAPnet Airing BROTHERS & SISTERS Mother's Day Marathon On May 13

For those who still have SOAPnet, the network is airing a Mother's Day marathon with the Walkers as SOAPnet celebrates “Mothers, Brothers & Sisters” marathon on Sunday, May 13, 3–7 p.m.. The four hour marathon features mother-themed episodes of BROTHERS & SISTERS.

BROTHERS & SISTERS follows the lives of The Walker Family who include: Nora Walker, her brother Saul and her grown children Sarah, Kitty, Tommy, Kevin, and Justin. The Walkers are a fiercely loyal, loving and bickering family. Friends as much as siblings, while they may often disagree, they always support each other through joy and heartache. But when the father they love and respect suddenly dies, secrets slowly unravel that serve to test the family and their business, to its limits. 

SOAPnet Thanksgiving Marathons - BROTHERS & SISTERS' Walkers On Thursday, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Lucky On Friday

SOAPnet will be airing two marathons during the Thanksgiving holiday. Thursday night will featured eight classic episodes of BROTHERS & SISTERS featuring the Walker clan. The marathon starts at 5 p.m. ET/PT ON Thursday, November 24.

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Lucky Spencer, son of super couple “Luke and Laura” is a true blend of his parents’ best qualities. He is sensitive and compassionate like his mother, with the charisma and romantic spirit of his father. Tune in on “Black Friday” for five hours of favorite Lucky episodes in “Lucky Friday,” from 7 p.m.-12 a.m. ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25.

SOAPnet Schedule Shuffle: RYAN'S HOPE Gone, BROTHERS & SISTERS Added, "Classic" AMC, OLTL, GH From 2006

SOAPnet's schedule gets a makeover starting September 26. That's the day the RYAN'S HOPE reruns and the last of the new ALL MY CHILDREN episodes will air. The final AMC marathon ending with the September 23 ABC finale will air from 12-5 a.m. ET. The final RYAN'S HOPE episodes (from 1977) will air from 5-6 a.m. that morning.

ABC primetime soap BROTHERS & SISTERS joins the lineup that afternoon airing from 5-7 p.m. weekdays. Same day DAYS OF OUR LIVES moves to 8 p.m.

"Classic" ABC daytime episodes will air overnight but those start in October 2006 so your happiness with that will depend on what you consider classic.

SOAPnet has announced their plans for scheduling after the last episode of ALL MY CHILDREN airs on September 23. The ABC primetime soap BROTHERS & SISTERS joins the lineup, RYAN'S HOPE, which aired from 5-6 a.m., has been axed, and classic episodes of AMC, ONE LIFE TO LIVE and GENERAL HOSPITAL will now air in the overnight (3 a.m. - 6 a.m.) timeslot.

BROTHERS & SISTERS Canceled
It is the end of the road for ABC's veteran family drama. There had been a serious effort by ABC and producing studio ABC Studios to find a price point at which they could bring the show back for an abbreviated sixth and final season.

The success of her talk show, which was renewed for its third season, has generated other opportunities for Williams. Along with DANCING WITH THE STARS and DROP DEAD DIVA, she'll appear on the soap opera ONE LIFE TO LIVE and host a new dating show LOVE TRIANGLE on the Game Show Network next month.

Candy Spelling to pen another book, this time about daughter Tori
Spelling is shopping another book, but this one plans to dish about her rocky relationship with her daughter, Tori. The widow of TV producer Aaron Spelling has written "Candy Spelling: Golden Girl, Silver Lining," a synopsis of her life since his death. Page Six obtained a copy of the proposal, including a chapter on her troubled relationship with Tori, which deteriorated after Aaron died. Tori, who reportedly received just $800,000 from Spelling's $500 million estate, claimed Candy never notified her of her father's passing. But Candy says she asked Tori to come home when Aaron was near death, but she was filming a movie in Toronto with now-husband Dean McDermott.
