The Bay returns December 1.
The Bayhem reaches new heights when Gregori J. Martin's Emmy-winning drama series The Bay returns in December with eight all new episodes. LANY Entertainment has confirmed two new episodes will air back-to-back on Tuesday, December 1 with a third new episode airing on Thursday, December 3. Additional new episodes will be released every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month (Dcember 8, 10, 15 and 17), with the season finale episode airing Tuesday, December 22.

Victoria Gotti, ex-husband get into screaming match at son's Long Island wedding over All My Children star Jack Scalia
A mob war erupted this weekend at the Long Island wedding of late Gambino family boss John Gotti’s namesake grandson. Father-of-the-groom/made man Carmine Agnello and Mafia princess/ex-wife Victoria Gotti traded barbs Friday night over her date for the evening — hunky soap opera star Jack Scalia (ex-Chris, All My Children; ex-Nicholas, Dallas), attendees said.

“If you think it’s over between us, you’re dead wrong!” Agnello was heard shouting at Gotti.

But the fiery blonde daughter of the late mob boss returned fire, shouting, “I divorced you a decade ago — get used to it!”

From South Africa soap opera Isidingo extra to Daily Show host: Trevor Noah's rise to fame
In 2002, Noah started his career with a small role on the SABC 3 soapie Isidingo, playing a gangster. He later told New Zealand's Stuff magazine that he "stumbled on to the set one day by mistake and I got cast in a role."

Tim Matheson & Days of our Lives star Camila Banus join FX drama pilot Snowfall
Banus (Gabi on Days) will play Lucia Villanueva, whose father is a very successful drug dealer who almost certainly has given his daughter too much over the years. Born in Mexico but raised in the U.S., her entitlement masks a deeply scarred soul; she now wants to take control of her life through whatever means necessary.

Hollyoaks actor is left partially blind and almost loses an eye after a fly flew into his cornea during filming
Robert Doherty, who regularly plays a policeman in the British soap, was filming a scene outside when he felt a tiny fly buzz into his eye. He thought nothing of it and wiped it away, but within hours his eye had become red and he developed a pounding headache. Upon waking the next morning, he was horrified to discover he was completely blind in one eye. Doctors revealed the tiny creature had scratched his cornea and left behind bacteria.

“I’m in recovery now for 30 years,” says Lawford, who had a 15-year career as an actor (including three years playing Charlie Brent on All My Children), lawyer, executive and producer. “For about 20 of those, I was anonymous, speaking in church basements and other 12-step programs. In 2005, I wrote a book, ‘Symptoms of Withdrawal,’ a New York Times bestseller. There was such an avalanche of response that I began speaking publicly … It was important for me to give back, to be a part of the solution.”

Actor who plays The Archers villain in shock at social media onslaught
The actor playing the villain Rob Titchener in British radio soap opera The Archers says he has had to stop looking at online listener reactions to the Radio 4 series after large numbers of abusive attacks.

“I have now removed all social media from my house because some of the things people said were quite awful,” said Timothy Watson, after he had been greeted with a barrage of boos and hisses by an audience at the Radio Times Festival.

Former soap star Brian Gaskill involved in car crash
Gaskill (ex-Bobby, All My Children; ex-Rafe, Port Charles et al) and his girlfriend, Ambika Leigh, were involved in a car accident over the weekend, when a car being pursued by police in a high speed chase crashed into their vehicle. Both Gaskill and his girlfriend are doing okay, but his car was totaled. "Thankful to be alive after being hit in the climax of a high speed chase.... It was even televised .... And I thought Castle was gonna be my return to TV ...ha (sorry for the humor)," he posted on Facebook. "Ambika Leigh was with me and I'm so grateful we are still here...love to you all.

Showbiz411: Y&R Star Leaves Show to Make YouTube Series with Scientology Pals
Roger Friedman has never held back in his columns and goes full throttle in an "exclusive" new story about Michelle Stafford's exit from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and her new web series THE STAFFORD PROJECT, and it all revolves his apparent disdain for Scientology. Here are a few quotes:

"So what did Stafford leave for? To make a YouTube series with her Scientology pals"

"But what 'The Stafford Project' hasn't addressed yet is that everyone involved in it is a Scientologist."

"Stafford has been with Scientology since 1990, and has worked her way up to OTVII, which means she may have secret information about desert rendezvous with aliens."

EDITOR'S NOTE: Stafford's web series, THE STAFFORD PROJECT, is quite funny and, if video views are any indication, a smash hit already.
