RESULTS: Indie Soap Best of the Week Poll (June 24-30, 2012); RAGGED ISLE No. 1

The results are in from the We Love Soaps Indie Soap Best of the Week poll for the week of June 24-30, 2012. The latest episode of RAGGED ISLE, "Drowning Man," finished on top this week followed by the season finale of BREAKING POINT and the season premiere of BROOKLYN IS IN LOVE.

The results are in from the We Love Soaps Indie Soap Best of the Week poll for the week of May 6-12, 2012. LOS FELIZ was voted the favorite of our readers for the first time.  The show follows the misadventures of Fig (Bernard Badion) and all the trouble he gets into when his best friend enlists him to help hide an affair from his fiance.  Trying to keep everyone happy, Fig quickly gets caught in a web of hilarious lies and cover-ups.

INDIE SOAP BEAT: New Series ADULTS ONLY & PRISON DANCER, New Episodes of B.J. FLETCHER, NICK NICKY

Here's the latest news and episodes from the world of indie soaps:

* Brian Austin Greene, Vincent Pastore, Danny Nucci, and Brianna Brown are just some of the recognizable names in the cast of ADULTS ONLY, which premieres on March 7 at 8 p.m. ET. The eight-episode series is written, directed and produced by comic book writer Jason M. Burns (“The Expendable One”).

Shot over a period of six days in Mansfield and North Attleboro, ADULTS ONLY stars Todd Poudrier as Chance Rioux, a former Olympic gold medalist who takes a job managing his brother-in-law’s adult brick-and-mortar store to make ends meet.

WATCH: BREAKING POINT Mid-Season Finale

Indie soap BREAKING POINT has done well in the We Love Soaps weekly polls since its premiere last month. Fans have been drawn into the series which aired its fifth episode, the mid-season finale, this week.

BP is currently nearing the end of a fundraising campaign to raise money to shoot additional episodes. The last day of the campaign is Monday, September 5th. Find out more here.

NEWS ROUNDUP: Sarah Michelle Gellar Airs On AMC Sept. 21, Shaugnessy Reunites With Drescher, GLEE Controversy

Sarah Michelle Gellar's ALL MY CHILDREN return scheduled for September 21. Fox addresses GLEE controversy, and won't rule out a spinoff. WATCH: Premiere of Web Series BREAKING POINT

Caryn K. Hayes's BREAKING POINT web series has premiered. The show follows a group of friends as they deal with the extraordinary crises that make up their day-to-day lives.

On the premiere episode, Dana and Ben take their relationship to a new level, which shocks the girls. A contract dispute with an irate music producer keeps Dennis from getting home, spawning an argument between Dennis and Gabby.

Coming Tuesday: New Web Series BREAKING POINT

Writer-producer-director Caryn K. Hayes unleashes high drama online with her new award-winning web soap series, BREAKING POINT, which follows a group of friends as they deal with the extraordinary crises that make up their day-to-day lives.

The series is set to launch on Tuesday, August 2, with a new episode rolling out each Tuesday for five consecutive weeks.
